That was said to the people of Israel. I am not an Israeli. God never told me to keep the Sabath day in the covenant I have with Him, namely, the New one. By the way even an Israeli can not keep the Sabath day, because the Old Testament in no more. Nobody can enter in something that does not exist.

Sabbath starts at sunrise saturday. Check Matthew 28:1. The sabbath ended after it dawned to sunday, meaning that evening can't start a new day, hence Friday sabbath is wrong. Keep sabbath according to bible not jewish traditions

In the 4th Commandment of the Bilbe, it says "Thou shall keep the Sabbath day holy". Its a literal day which we need to keep it holy.

That was a literal day to rest in the Old Covenant. In the New Cov the Shabbat is Jesus Himself. He said: more than the Shabbat is here.

A bir before that some Christians moved from sabbath to separate themselves from Jews who were rebellious but God did not change the day He sanctified. One day is holy But we worship Him every day.

With respect, I think the day of crucifixion of Jesus was Friday, and Saturday the Sabbath (John 19:42). Sunday, the 3rd day, Jesus is risen. Sunday is the first day of the week (John 20:1).

No, according to Christian tradition, Resurrection Sunday is the eighth day. It's the day after... This is why I celebrate resurrection every Sunday of the year.

@@maxjnb4816 Agree, tradition can distort truth, e.g. I think Christians definitely need to celebrate the birth of Jesus, but baby Jesus was given gifts by the 3 wise men, the Bible does not mention people giving gifts to each other at Christmas, there are implications to this gift giving, & the tradition of gift giving distracts from the meaning of Christmas.

I have discovered it only recently during a fellowship. The Sabbath Day is meant for us people. Not as a ritual, like many misguided people do. The Lord wants us to rest, so that we dont exhaust ourselves. We all work hard and everything, and to be fair, it is very merciful of Him. Others everyone would work themselves to the bone. For example, I work 6 days with varying shifts and have 4 days off. Then my cycle starts over again. I always take 1 of my days off to just do nothing. The Lord asked me to rest one day and I can choose which one. Now I see the Sabbath different. It feels truly like a resting day. Dear Lord, I thank You for showing Your way to me. Me, an unworthy sinner of Your mercy. You know my weaknesses, but know how to treat me properly. I am blessed to have You in my life. Amen.

I had walked away from the Lord for 8 long years. Stopped believing and stopped going to Church. Then I had an experience where Christ revealed Himself to me in dreams, over and over again, so I finally repented and returned to Church. When I told my mother, she cried tears of joy, and she told me that she had prayed for me every single day that I would return to the Lord. Her prayers were answered. The prayers of a mother are powerful. 🙏 Keep praying, trust in God, and do not lose hope. 🙏 sometimes, some of us need to experience the world as prodical sons or daughters in order to understand just how amazing the love of God truly is.

God did make the earth in 6 days. Just like Jesus turned water into wine in an instant. Where do you think that the sugar came from. Where do you think that the yeast came from. Where do you think that the skin of the grape went to make the wine. When there was only water. Where did the alcohol come from. The process to make wine takes years. And He made the best wine. This is a declaration that He is outside space and time. So if God said He made it in six days He did make it in six days.

Not in the new testament. Paul said do not let anyone judge you on the sabbath. Either you are living under the old testament or the new testament. If you are living under the old testament then you will have to sacrifice animals. Christ is the sacrificial lamb. If the law could save us there would be no need for Christ. Paul said that. You people need to study the writing of Paul. If you don't believe Paul then you don't believe Christ.

@@stewarttomkinson3356 when one young guy was listening to Paul, fell out the window, and died, the followers of The Way were gathered on the first day of the week, as I recall. It’s in Acts, if you’d like to confirm. You’ll also find in the New Testament that if you believe something to be wrong, then for you it is wrong. Corinthians, I believe.

Christ said "...come unto Me and I will give you rest (Sabbath)...". Christ is eternal Sabbath rest, eternal day. The phrase of, "...in the beginning...," is a direct reference to not just "a" beginning, (the creation of matter) but "various" beginnings, (stars, earth, life, time) but it ultimately focused on the priority beginning, the creation of man and the woman who they will join together in their family pilgrimage of discovering God.

This is a young earth, not an old one in the Billions of years. Go study creation in Genesis for yourself. Moses write Genesis. He wrote in Genesis 1:1-5 was the first day. This was all day one. Never just blindly take someone's word for it. Paul wrote to Timothy and said Study to show thyself approved. STUDY FOR YOURSELF.

Jesus Christ was the end of what the Bible teaches about the sabbath and a whole bunch of other things. He sums it up by saying to love one another as he loves us, and to love God with all our hearts. Extremely simple and concise.

Its always been the 7 day. Saturday now, enoch calender our saturday was their tuesday. God told children of Israel to come together sat and Tuesday. Lord knows the future so he kept them on schedule even if calendars change.

I always say that Jesus rose on Sunday , or Saturday night, because he honored the sabbath, even on his death. And he was crucified on Wednesday and put in the tomb for 3 nights and 3 days as Jonah was in the belly of the whale. Wednesday night, Thursday night ,friday night. Rose Saturday night. Or Sunday morning as they want to call it.

Comments are saying they dislike this bishop and saying its a false prophet? How? Can someone enlighten me cause I heard his preaches and I understand that it is what his understanding about the Bible, but It does not discredit the bible tho?, I mean there is a verse that we can't see is as literally but can come to an understanding with time, and prayers I believe. Thats why we always read our bible, cause even tho it is quite simple but I believe that there is more meaning to a Bible verse than just see it as literally and of course it should be accompanied by prayers cause we need to understand that it is God who reveals this wisdom to us, and I think Bishop Mari is sharing his understanding about the sabbath day, but at the end of the day I agree that sabbath doesn't save us but only Through Jesus Christ, and the end of the day these kind of disagreement is normal but I am curious about the perspective, and also by the end of the day either we believe it Saturday or Sunday, as long as it leads us to Jesus Christ and encourage us to read the bible to grow more in our faith, I think it's fine.

I've heard him preach a few things that aren't biblically and he Has done services against many Christian dominations using flat out lies instead of biblical dispute and honestly I also find coincidence hard to believe his church is called good Shepherd and a verse came to me after his attack especially notice the last bit ‭Zechariah 11:17 NIV‬ [17] “Woe to the worthless shepherd, who deserts the flock! May the sword strike his arm and his right eye! May his arm be completely withered, his right eye totally blinded!” I pray he realises the truth about the Sabbath and that God's word can not be done away with by mans tradition

God rested on the seventh day. God created sun moon and stars on the 4th day. The days were counted from the day of creation of sun moon and stars. So how could sabbath become on a Saturday?

Sabbath meaning rest and we find our rest in Jesus Christ only The Son of the Living God. Not just Saturday or Sunday but with every breath we take until His return.
