It's rare to have both Cecily and Kristin in a sketch and someone else makes me laugh more than them. But at 3:35 Taron got me with his high pitched hysterical laugh.

Saying “I would like to see you again” in the middle of a date is a golden move. I never tried it on a 6th grader, but on grownups it works pretty well to alleviate the anxiety and tension.

Watching this now and knowing how much everyone loved working with Tim Robinson on SNL and now he has his own creative platform where all of his peers cheer him on makes this sketch super special.

I think this is the first time I've seen a Kristen get upstaged by someone, Cecily Stron did a an amazing job bot are so funny!

Tim’s faces is in this sketch are absolutely perfect. That’s exactly what 6th grade boys act like. 😆

They are mocking that huge age gaps are well accepted when the man is 20, 30 years (or even more) older, but that the whole scene becomes very bizarre if the women are older than the men. And of course, they had to add satirical elements (so they put kids there instead of grown-ups) because there is no joke in it if they would have filmed it with men in their 20s as (I assume) Wiig/Strong were in their 30s when they filmed it. So the whole concept is cleary artifical. It's comedy. Calm down trolls.

SNL blew it with Tim Robinson. So much talent wasted.

Cecily Strong is unfairly underrated ,her histrionic qualities are as great as Kirsten’s and she has stolen the show several times ,mostly every time she performs but Who knows why she doesn’t get the recognition she really deserves🤔

I think the skit also plays on the stereotypical things women do and say on double dates that are ridiculous and clearly done to get the guys affection. and in order to highlight how silly it is, they had to make the dates something that wouldn't work. this technique is used in literature all the time. hyperbolize the situation in order to see its nonsense
