This whole episode is my favourite from SNL. Maya Rudolph kills it and basically every skit is hilarious. Another funny thing about the Bon Iver part is that Justin Timberlake had just hosted the show (maybe even the week before) and Bon Iver were the musical guest. They were so boring, that obviously JT came back the next show for this skit. Love it!

In this case Creole is a term used for some Americans typically that are mixed with black, French, native American and Spanish or sth similar. I typically see that term used for people from Louisiana/New Orleans. It describes ethnic background so yes it has to do with race not language in this case. Also saying Beyonce is totally black but has some white in her like every black American makes no sense. You literally just contradicted yourself. She's black but she's definitely not a pure full-blooded black person.
