Yoongis gummy Smile Her dad was an alcoholic, married to the pub. The pub was the closest thing to a mom she had. This a common stereotype of inhabitants of the British Isles and Ireland, that they’re all alcoholics. The boxer part is harder to explain, but has to do with the class system there - poorer people tend to be more involved in contact sports, and those in contact sports are stereotyped as meat heads likely to be alcoholics who mistreat their children.

"Scunnered" generally means Tired. "Wae" means With. "Jobbies" means Shite. A Literal Shite. So he's not really saying anything but it's funny as fuck coz like I said, we talk shite all the time, and it could mean anything at the time and the context of how it's said.

Northern Ireland - bones in soil bcus of decades of armed conflict. Also the only part of Ireland that is in UK . A British show would only have an Irish contestant if they were from Northern Ireland- its within their kingdom, like Scotland. Someone from Republic of Ireland wouldnt be in a show from the UK . Even though there has been peace, it's just a totally different country. Like you wouldn't have a Canadian in a US game show.
