Shia literally had the golden ticket but him as a person scared everyone away from working with him. I personally thoght he was a decent actor. Lately he hasn't gotten into trouble, I hope he gets his anger under control because I do enjoy his acting.

Im guessing this must have been one of the first times they had done this skit, since the dynamic between Kenan and Jasons character isnt a chummy as it gets in later ones. Also i think this is one of the only times the host didnt play a backup character to Kenans 'Macintosh'

This was also filmed in May 2008, which was before Bobby Moynihan, who became known for playing the third teenager in place of Shia, was even a cast member, joining just a few months later at the start of the next season.

I'd not seen this comic Kenan Thompson before but man is he funny. Had me in tears of laughter. I used to watch SNL as a teenager back when it first started out in the 70s [I'm in my 60s now] . After John died I stopped. I found this by happy accident. Going to look up more of Kenan next.

Reminds me to a greasy joke. First night in jail. The new guy gets a visit in the dark from his rather creepy looking inmate: "You know - today is the first night, you can choose!" "Choose?" "With or without grease..." "(gulp) w..w...with." The inmate bumbs his fist against the bars and yells: "GREASE!!! Come on in."
