Fun Fact: Maya Rudolph's mother was soul singer Minnie Riperton, known for her high octave vocal range & her #1 hit "Loving You" and was a also a singer for Rotary Connection. Before her death, she received the American Cancer Society's Courage Award, which was presented to her by President Jimmy Carter.

Call your Mom, Grandmother, stepmom, or God Mom and thank them for their love and support. It's ok to not be included in everything ✌️♥️

@@MrKeychange The opening was an omage to the 80s NYC queer culture Balls and Madonna with a little Beyonce thrown in. If you watch any season of RuPaul's Drag Race you'll still hear queens reference their "Mothers" and the "Haus/House" they're from, like the Haus of Davenport and Haus of Edwards which are among the most prominent drag families on Drag Race, known for their talented dancers and big personalities. Older famous queens adopt younger newbies so they're considered their mothers.
