I am a nurse, and I have Saturn in my 5th house. Dealing with children in my profession is really a hard thing. There was one time where I was assigned to a pediatric ward and everytime I enter the ward, all of them cry so hard. Like all of them.

My Saturn is in the 12th house. That was so spot on!! Crazy. I've never heard this before. It explains so much of my life. I'm 61 soon, so I've lived a lot, and so much of this has come up in my life, but I feel I had a protection over me that nothing touched my life too drastically. But I'd say all of it did touch my life in some form or another. Like my mother worked at the local hospital for 30 years, I wasn't there a lot, but she was , and I heard about it. My Saturn is in the 4th house, Aquarius, and I never learned how to set boundaries. My grandma lived with us and my father always had health problems being away a lot (sun 8th house). I didn’t have to take on direct responsibility, but always had a feeling to be the glue. I never wanted to own a property and that would stem from an inherent fear of responsibility. Home is both a safe space and a burden. Now as a grown adult I live with my daughter and son in law. They are extremely family oriented and I just want to fly away.

Saturn in the 12th house here , grew up jehovas witness and they could not brainwash me 😂😂😂😂 I was also isolated from the rest of my siblings and family early on due to immigration matters so I was the last one to migrate and this created deep abandonment wounds in me , wow a lot !!! My Saturn is in the 1st house in Scorpio and while I was never made to work extra hard or carry a lot of responsibility, I grew up in a rather cold home and spontaneous, natural expression wasn't nurtured - rather discouraged I would say. My mom was a perfectionist at work as a school head master and maintaining an external facade was important to her. My parents didn't love each other and I while I was always provided for, I was mostly left to my own devices in terms of parental guidance and love and affection. Saturn also rules my 4th house - fits with all of the above.

… as for Saturn in the 12th, those I know with that placement are very spiritually engaged and evolved, but really not under the traditional constraints of the 12th. I often think the purpose of the 12th needs to be redefined. Seems all things not entirely understood and restrictive are thrown into 12th house interpretations. As humanity evolves, perhaps the 12th is the big eye opener where we haven’t gone yet… and so the journey begins…

I figured I’d resonate with everything you said with Saturn in my 2nd house. All my life didn’t grow up with money, family struggled, didn’t get anything materially. Early adulthood has shown me painful lessons needed to be learned from my impulsive behavior because I craved instant gratification. Within 3 years, I’m a different person now. I still feel that irresponsible behavior come up but it’s hardly noticeable and effective in my life. I’m wayyyy more frugal and mindful about how I spend my money and I’m embracing this placement more rather than resenting it like I used to. My Saturn in the 3rd house conjunct Mars and Pluto squaring my Sun in the 12th brought heavy experiences in my early education years. Being bullied, feeling inferior in all aspects, never having the courage to speak up or even to say anything to everyone because I always felt stupid. Saturn in the 12th conjunct my Jupiter Libra. This is very spot on! I have had times I disappear from the world either to work on myself or as a caregiver to grandparents. I currently work in healthcare and that can bring isolation too. Ever since I was a child I have been terrified of my family being taken from me. Which does come with a strong need to protect them or save them. I feel like having Jupiter with my Saturn does soften the edges of it, though. Like a gentle reminder that I can only do so much but I need to let it go.

Actually, Saturn in 8th house is absence of fear of dying/death. Saturn is resilient, “neutral” and disciplined - it makes the person very resilient and can handle death and transformation in a calm and stoic way. Sat in 8th house is the calm in the storm. 8th house aspects 2nd house, so they are disciplined in finances. Ups and downs can occur, however they always know how to manage it. Joint finances and in-laws can be tricky, however they must put in the hard work.

Saturn is in my fifth house, so accurate and really brought me a lot of clarity! In my 30, I've completely dodged all the challenges of relationships and having kids. Always dislike the idea of having my own kids.. Also tend to feel incredibly guilty of having fun when there's work to do. With the coming changes I feel like things can change and I might finally have the energy and be ready to face these challenges.

Saturn in the 1st in Sag ;) That's interesting how you mention all these things. My birth was difficult. I was very serious-minded and shy as a child. I had to understand the adult life at an early age, because my family was dysfunctional. My natal Saturn squares Moon, which translates into almost constant feelings of anxiety and worry, as well as difficult relationships with women. If that's not enough it's also conjunct Uranus, so you can imagine the tension between wanting to stay disciplined and work hard to achieve my goals, and a sudden urge to quit everything and start my life from scratch in a place, where nobody knows me 😄🤣 haha, but I hope that Sag gives me a little bit of the optimism that I would otherwise lack if Saturn was in a less adventurous sign 😎🥳

Saturn Rx in the 9th H Sag 29° - grew up in a household with total lack of beliefs/religion/spiritually (outside of hard work). No delays to my education that I know of but I did not have a clue what I wanted to do with my education (so I kept my degree very general - economics). It's not that I think I have little control of the world around me, it's that I know I have zero control lol 😅 for better or worse, that started off causing some pretty harrowing depression but now has opened up into a radical amount of faith in the God of my understanding. Both my sister and I have Saturn in the 10th. I feel like I'm very familiar with how it shows up for both of us. There are a lot of weird boundary issues involved with people of authority. Although my placement is a lot more wishy-washy since it is in Pisces, while hers is in Taurus. On the one hand, for how I show up to others in the world, I know that I straight up intimidate most people as I can come across as stoic especially since Saturn is squaring my Ascendant. For some of my friends its a running joke that I appear as an ice queen in demeanor when I am actually just friendly as a Gemini rising. On the other hand, it is often that I come across boundary issues from others and catch people off guard when I set up boundaries as if it came from out of nowhere. Both my sister and I are known for having rather serious expressions when we are focusing on something so it's funny when we realize people are reacting to that. My sister on the other hand deals with moving in a far more structured and slow pace with her career and even with how long it takes for her to eat. 😂 She truly savors her experiences and when it comes to work itself she may be slower at times, but masters everything efficiently. Both of us do come across as people to go to for authority, and those in authority positions; if they're not receptive to who we are as individuals, push back on our progress. There's often times workloads get dumped on us just because they know we will get it done and it brought us delays for our efforts to be recognized. I've said to my sister that eventually we just straight up have to become our own bosses someday to have some sort of semblance of relief from others. 😅

Yeah, 3rd house for me. Grew up in a cult, was picked on a lot, struggled with mathematics. Also, got into lot of fights with one of my brothers. Saturn conjunct Uranus in the 12th and a Capricorn rising. My mother is a Capricorn sun and my birth was difficult as I was breeched. I love my mom and we have a great relationship. However, I always felt emotionally distant from her in some way. My dad thinks she had post natal depression. At the age of 2 I had kidney reflux and had to go to the children’s hospital once a year until around the age of 4 or 5. I hated that. I did always kind of feel lonely and like a bit of an outsider growing up. When I was around 8 my mother went back to school to get her college degree and started working in hospitals as a secretary. I have generalized anxiety and have struggled with my mental health but not to the point of hospitalization thankfully. Since my Saturn return I’ve really gone inward to work on myself so that I can learn to control my anxiety and worry. I practice MBSR and meditation which have helped greatly. I’m currently in a 12th house profection year but since I’ve been doing the work, I’m feeling more confident in my ability to handle it. I also feel like I should add that I teach. My whole life has revolved around school as an institution. Not to mention that I kind of feel stuck in this job and I kind of want out because it’s been the reason behind many of my mental health struggles. Except that I’m struggling less and less these days since practicing mindfulness and meditation as well as rediscovering astrology and diving in deep with Human Design and other spiritual modalities and practices.
