My running gripe? I run 10k in just over an hour. I know that’s my speed, so I get in the proper start corral. Why are people going into the 45 minute corral who are walking after the second km ?!?! I know I’m not fast, but I’m trying to improve and get the fastest time that I am able, and these people are now in my way. They should be way ahead of me, yet I’m passing them. And there’s too many of these people for all of them to be injured. Anyway today I ram my PB of 1:03! I’m a 60yo fat guy who just started running in March.

Congratulations on the PB! It was interesting indeed to see so many people stop that early in the race, funny enough I know a couple of the runners who did that so I assumed they were injured. Some would stop right in the middle of the road abruptly, definitely surprised I didn't see as many collisions as I expected given that pattern. Everyone has their own story in their head, so it could be that many of them genuinely thought they could do it. Or perhaps they trained using a run walk thing like what the couch to 5k programmes do.

I got up at 5am thinking UGH another week begins, and then I watched this video. You guys bring me joy!!! You could probably run around a supermarket and talk about it and I'd still be happy! Another great race report/kit review.

Was great to say hi before the race gents - hope you enjoyed it as much as I did 👍

Well done chaps I did this race yesterday - the twists and turns really affect your momentum but having said that it isn't everyday you get to run on closed roads. I have signed up already for next year. Great times from you all - Nick at the start - Ah will try for sub 33 - wow!

Lovely stuff chaps. I always enjoy these run test videos, especially when it's a race that I also ran in (albeit much slower than you!). Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work.

I was in wave C and it was carnage :D One lady nearly hit another lady with her spit, she gave her a death glare... I pulled my hamstring around KM 7 which wasn't great but I knew I was running for the first time coming back from an injury (didn't want to miss the race but was clear I was going to run it not race it) so I took it easy for the remaining 3k to not aggravate things. Still glad I took part as that was my first big race and it is interesting to see how I would fare when surrounded by thousands of people. But I will stick to my smaller RunThrough events

Interesting. I find the Pro 3 very firm and harsh whereas you were saying it was soft / comfortable.
@aliasgharkhoyee9501Ай бұрын
That may be down to differences in weight or cadence. The heavier you are the softer you find foams, and the lower your cadence the more you compress the foam as well.

I too ran the race, but disappointed in the medal. I prefer a circular shape one like the ASCIS one last year.

You guys should hire someone bigger to the team. I weigh 110 kilos, 198 cm and when you say "bouncy shoes", often they are not at all bouncy for me 😅
@Laolu90Ай бұрын
They’d just end up hiring him to run in shoes that will never feel bouncy.

What has Mike got on his arm? Did any of you guys get the Endorphin Elite 2 for review, that sounds like a killer shoe from Fordy Run's videos?

Which chest HR sensor is Nick using? Was it paired with the Suunto Race "S"?

Of course these are three really good runners who know what they’re talking about. But They don’t seem to have the upper body strength to hold a mobile phone. I think they’ve been skipping wrist day.

Running is more useful. Name one scenario where I need to wrist curl a 50 kilos. Running to work is the first scenario running is useful.
@Laolu90Ай бұрын
@@Artemis-v8i50 kilos is a bit much, but wrist strength would definitely be useful when opening a jar of pickles 🥒
