Just bought some. First run yesterday and I was really tired going out, however I thought they were lovely, very springy but felt like you could really turn the pace up on days where you’re feeling lively. It kind of has a traditional looking running upper and a super shoe base to it. It hasn’t stripped everything out of the upper which gives it a familiar feel vs really thin minimal shoes out there ride now. Really like them.

Relieved to hear this feedback, having picked up the 4 (with your code, thank you) last week. Ran in the pro 3 last night and felt great, saving the 4 for a half and then London.

I enjoyed the video and I really like the reviews both before and after completing the race. Reviewing the shoe after you have completed a race makes your assessment of the shoe more authentic and valuable. I really appreciate you creating that content! As an everyday-runner, I’m really looking for race shoe for my first marathon and am considering the NB Elte V4, Saucony Pro 4, Hoka Cielo X1, and Adidas Pro 3. I appreciate both your initial review and now, this one. I found the Endo Pro3 to be the first CP shoe that felt natural to me and it helped give me an 18:00 PR last year in Boston. (I’d used the Endo Speed the year before.) I was given a pair of AF3 last month to try out and wanted to see what all the fuss was about, but in the end (after a 14 mi LR and a couple of other miles) I sent them back. I’m just not a fan of super high stack mushier midsoles and my gut instinct was discomfort over taking the risk on an “A” race, so I’ve been hoping v4 of the Endo Pro would be at least as good for me as the 3’s. Both your input and EDDBUD’s have convinced me it will likely be another winner for me. I should be able to get a pair in another week or so. It’s so strange how some say this runs larger, others say it runs smaller, some say it’s softer, others say it’s firmer, some say it’s toned down, others say it’s racier. Ultimately we have to try them for ourselves, as I often find myself writing in comments.

Great video as usual! I have the Pro 3, and I liked it for up to half marathon distance. My feet are a bit wide, so I think using it for a Marathon would be pushing it. I’m going to use the NB SC Elite 4 for a marathon next week.

Good review. I also have a Spring event I havent picked shoes for. I feel like Asics is just teasing us recently with their Paris Mataspeed release. Curious to see what they pop up with.

The EP3 will likely go on sale when the EP4 is released, which raises the question of which may be a better choice and why? (8:30 min/mi marathon pace)

Thanks Fordy, I need to choose between my EP3 and my AP3 for Leeds in May, although frankly I don't think I can go wrong with either. It'll be interesting when Adidas bring out a Pro4 as that'll probably be the time I'll be buying.

as a 5:30/km pace racer would you go speed 4 or pro 4?

Good review Fordy thanks. So my half pace 8 mins marathon around 9. My current pair of speed 3’s have just 100 miles on them and there’s no reason to change them but … and here’s my question.. Baring in mind my marathon pace should I keep my speed 3’s and buy the pro 4 for racing or just upgrade to speed 4 for training and racing!? Hope that makes sense 🤷🏼‍♂️

Interesting review. I really wasn't a fan of the EP3. I found it uncomfortable, firm, quite stiff and unstable. This one sounds like it might be more up my street. Hesitant about getting it though after how disappointed I was with the last iteration. Does the foam feel any softer than the EP3 or has it got firmer due to the addition of the HG foam?!

I got pro 3 to possibly run Syd marathon last year - didn't like it, chosen adidas pro 3 - good choice. This year used saucony pro 3 for 10km as though it might be suitable for me for shorter distances - nah , for next 10km will dust off adidas pro 2 - which still have another unused pair.. So I'll not be getting saucony pro 4 or any other saucony until / if they introduce some less soft foam than Pb foam - it's not good for tall jacked heavy runner 😅

Since I don't have a race shoe, and you've used all shoes that I'm going to mention next, could you comment on how much useful the Adios Pro 3 (or this Endorphin Pro) is over a Boston 12 and Puma Deviate Nitro 2 for a Marathon (or Half-Marathon)? I run at about the same pace as you, 4:40-5:00 min/km for long distance. Thanks.

Would you suggest these over the adidas pro 3 for a first marathon? Have done most of my training in the Boston 12 and live them

The New Balance SC Elite V4 will be more stable than this or the Cielo X1 from personal experience and testing. So this is for all the overpronators out there!
