Just because you beat Argentina doesn't mean you won the World Cup, and Mexico dragged you back to earth with it. You could not even produce an aggressive football they used to do with Argentina and Poland, while Mexico neutralised you and butchered your tactics.

Sufrimiento que se pudo ahorrar México si el "tata" Martino hubiera puesto un centro delantero contra polonia, Edson Álvarez y un juego mas ofensivo contra Argentina, llevado a Santiago Gimenez en lugar de Funes Mori, colocar a Lozano por izquierda donde tuvo mejor actuación con el PSV en lugar de la derecha donde tuvo un iregular paso el Napoli y probar jugadores nuevos o jovenes en lugar de casarse con las "vacas sagradas" de la selección. Martino ya tenía problemas con la asociación mexicana de fútbol, algunos jugadores, la afición, etc y no es raro pensar que jugó mal a propósito para ser despedido y dejar de ser DT de México. Pasaba más tiempo en Argentina (su país de nacimiento) que en México, no consiguió nada con el barcelona de Messi, no consiguió nada con ka Argentina de Messi ¿Qué no hacía pensar que conseguiría algo importante con México?
