I just went down a rabbit hole of watching clips of this guy talk about the movies he was in and I gotta say: it's been a real treat. Thank you for uploading this.

I loved him in this, the part where he freaks out over figuring out they knew Elliot’s name and says “You stabbed me in the heart” so great, you could feel that.

We need MORE Saul Rubinek interviews. His first hand no-bullshit accounts of working behind the scenes in Hollywood next to some of the biggest stars and directors for 30 years are some of the most brutally honest and straightforward observations I've heard from any actor...

That is all I could think when watching this! Man, what a character. I have always known I’d love this guy in interviews based on his characters.. similar to Dennis hopper where you know they’re probably some of the most interesting people in real life as well

Brilliant. How has this video got no comments! Great insight into the casting. I always thought Saul did a great job of holding his own in a cast full of stars.

Great story Saul. Always enjoyed your roles since I was a kid. The curly hair made me relate to you😅

So Tony Scott gave him the role because he was the same arrogant scumbag as the producer character lol. I hope the irony wasn't lost on Rubinek but if he is the same type of narcissist then it would have been. I have no doubt Tony Scott would have been inwardly laughing at Rubinek the whole shoot.
