Once i was listening to him then stopped listening long time back. He did not recommend ITC when it was low & misguided investers . Later he admitted it is a mistake. I went on my own instinct . My major holding is only ITC. Thank almighty.

Do not believe this so called great investor. He was advocating strongly for ralaxo stock now he had already moved out of it and so many investors are trapped. Better to use our knowledge and due deligence while selecting good stocks. Otherwise these so called great will keep on fooling common investors.

@@sandipghosh9326 i will not cry because tcs is also in my portfolio along with ltts, persistent and birla soft but the cagr return which tcs has given in last 10 years is not imprresive. this kind market cap what tcs have will give multifold return looks quite tough rather infosys have much better record in terms of cagr and divident pay. may be u are a fan of sourav mukherjee but i never blindly follows this kind of fund manager.

AI is a great negative for IT services companies because the companies who require their services will eventually use AI to not require their services. Less labour is cost saving yes but the price of the product comes down in the long run which means companies will be overvalued.

IT service companies mostly work on complex legacy business transformation projects(and support ) and any AI products can't directly be fitted into the business process. It requires some type of implementation. So IT services employees without skills might lose jobs. But companies would find new avenues.

@@fridge_magnet These things only seem complex to people who are dumb. None of the IT services companies do anything special. The job they do is so menial that the BIG tech firms rather outsource it. If the work is important they would do it inhouse.

@@kaunsandeepkataria they are transitioning to a new software which enabales proper inventory management but its taking time plus growth prospects seem muted in the next 1-2 years. Plus if you hear Marcellus’s latest CCP webinar Rakshit expressed scepticism and sounded that they may trim the position if things dont improve as per their channel checks. So thats an indication enouf. Even Saurabh mentioned in the above intwrview that their main portfolio may see a couple of changes. Thats why i feel Page is the next exit.

To answer your question, AI as a layer is easy to install on cloud-apps as opposed to in-premise applications. Hence cloud is a prerequisite for AI

His numbers on Defense imports are not correct. How can we import 100 billion dollars worth every year when the defence budget itself is just 66 billion usd. Out of this 66 billion, the capex is around 20 billion per year. Of which only a portion goes to imports.

Pros like Saurabh talk very intelligently yet delivery too little. TCS and Infosys gave 3x in 10 years. Why do we need professional money manager like Saurabh to get that return. Just buy a house/land and you will get hat return while enjoying the house/land.

Agree his Co. says min investment Rs50lacs and anything above 10% he takes away 50% and tax you have to bear. Is it worth taking so much risk.. well those who have money can..
