This is my favourite vid of the week. Some funny stuff and great playing. I bought the Supro 1624T. It works as a blues amp at lower levels. For the Jimi Page tone cranked up it's pretty loud. But not ridiculous loud. Great vid, thanks.

It's great SUPRO is using the 6L6s. With Fender deserting to EL-84s there are fewer of these around. Does it say JAM CANADA on the back? And I assume they're made in China like the Fender Vaporizers (2X10").

I really like the tremolo on my Supro Titan - so smooth. Not a big fan of the reverb, though. It gets really hot, as well. Also, it just quit after a year and my tech hasn't got to it yet :-(

The APW the Supro Thunderbolt is even better. I’ve got the S6420+ (only difference is the rectifier, 35/45/60W modes) and I’ll never get rid of it. Of course it’ll not be my only amp, but it’ll always be something I love to play with.

I think it's the Thunderbolt that I read about before watching this review. Amazing amps. From clips, they seem to occupy a sonic space between tweed and blackface Fender, they have that blackface roundness but are looser than a Deluxe Reverb (for example). Is that true according to your experience? Next time I'm in town I'll have to try one for myself.

I have one of these, and with a good clean boost at lower volume, helps the amp open up at a useable bedroom volume. You can always get an attenuator as well.

I have a thunderbolt and it’s best at high volumes but it takes pedals very well so you can get a good overdrive tone with pedals.

In the Telecaster video where they came out with copies of Pete’s purple Tele, he said for his 30th birthday that he was given the guitar by his wife as a present, and he’d had it for a few years. My guess is 32-35
