Once i had the maddest casual match and it was intierly us as engineers and the opposite team was all sniper bots, it was hard but we won at the end, because they didnt recognise sentries as target. Now the bots are different and they can destroy sentries, but i'll never forget the joy of all of my human team, realising we went through a real life mvm match on cp_foundry and did the unthinkable

TF2 is such a good game. The gameplay is fantastic and its so sad that valve has rejected it. I hope this movement and the game will thrive.

you know, there's been something that's fascinated me for so long about Valve's decision-making. Why have they never made a team fortress 3? Not like I inherently want the game to die, of course, but they clearly know that people care about TF2, they've been hounded and begged and questioned about it for eons. Why not just make Team Fortress 3? Not only would it potentially (if well executed) drastically satiate diehard TF2 fans (aka all TF2 fans), but it could also be used to make them even MORE money by promoting it as a new game, which would draw more people into the game. It could finally get the source engine upgrade it has needed so badly, it could add new weapons, it could even give us new classes, better anti cheat (or actual anti-cheat), and still have the freedom for us fans to make community servers of our wildest dreams and stay true to its roots. There's a demographic for it, and especially now they can tell there is a VERY HIGH DEMAND for it. I see it as nothing more than literally free money (unless it was 60 bucks instead of free or at most like 20 bucks) what's the issue? Why don't they just make Team Fortress 3 and earn probably the most amount of money from any game they've previously made? (that probably won't be true but considering the fact that even people who DON'T play TF2 are aware and supporting this movement, I find it hard to believe they could look at all these fans and think "hmmm, nah, if we made another sequel or even just gave the game a new content update, it would be a failure and make us lose money") at this point i think us as a collective fanbase would quite literally pay anything to see a new, substantial content update, and we would pay even MORE if TF2 got a fucking sequel with even more classes, weapons, and playstyles

Last night I played tf2 every game I was in got overrun by bots this is a game beyond saving even if valve DID try (which they wont) I wouldn't be surprised if the bot hosters found a way around whatever valve did they have had years to develop these bots they can't be stopped tf2 brought good memories but you people need to learn when to give up on something that died years ago
