When I worked in a gas station one of my jobs was to stick the tanks We had a long stick with inch marks on it a on the end of it We put on a paste to check for water in the tanks if it turned blue There was water in the bottom of tanks if there was we added a "drygas" solution to them

I run Hot Shot with a F350 and I have a 60 gallon tank with a 90 gallon belly tank. I do not fill the belly tank unless it is less than $4.55 a gallon right now. It is full of $3.89 cold weather treated fuel that I got last week near Macon. The main tank is not treated. I use Gas Buddy for fuel but I rarely buy more than 150 gallons..

Construction of the Barnwell Airfield, for use as a B-25 Mitchell Bomber training base got underway in September of 1942 and was completed in March of 1943 at a cost of $1,000,000.00. Two construction companies worked around the clock, seven days a week to complete the job. The original runways were 5000 feet long and 150 feet wide. Barnwell, Greenwood, Walterboro, North Army Air Base and Congaree Air Base were built as satellite bases to the Columbia Air Base (Owens/Hamilton Field) because the Columbia Air Base simply did not have enough room for the expected large number of planes and pilots in the training pipeline. The Columbia Air Base was under control of Third Air Force III Air Support Command.

Talking about price of fuel. Here in the UK, there's three types of prices. 1. Most expensive is buying fuel from Service Stations on motorways (freeway/highway); 2. Next expensive, are from private garages in local towns; and the cheapest is at supermarkets

We in the UK, had warm weather end November/beginning of December, never have it that warm, 14C degrees. Last week or so, its been well below freezing, -7C degrees. This week, back to warm weather again, 13C degrees. But alas, no snow, just really heavy hoar frost. What a rude sign in the little reception area for truck drivers. Hope they don't threat their customers the same way. Stay safe Justin

I’m leased to status transport and we us TCS for our fuel card, works everywhere we need it to but we get big discounts at ambest and TA/PETROS. At some ambest stops it’s almost a dollar off the pump price

if it works like my old fuel card worked it is like a virtual credit card- The pumps show one price but the app is getting like a wholesale price where the company you buy from gets a really small price per gallon profit but most people buy drinks etc.. so the profit comes elsewhere- and believe me, like 7Eleven, they can lose 1/2 cent per gallon and make it back on coffee and soda

Shot your infrared gun as close as you can to your brake shoes to see how much heat is being generator by the brakes..depending on how much you to use your brakes will have more influence on hub temperature then bearing friction.

My theory on the early driver side front bearing wear is much like that of a motorcycle front tire. It will always wear on the left side much more than the right side. This is caused by the longer left turns versus relatively short right turns. The longer left turns put more wear on the bearing over time as it pivots around the curve. That’s my theory and I’m sticking to it! Happiest of holiday wishes to you and your family!

Discount fuel down south most truckers used to tell me had no anti gel in it and when they ran north with full tanks they had problems ! I guess you'll see if it's going below zero !

make sure u connect ur mudflap to a credit card where u get additional 2% cashback ...get TCS, RTS, WEX ...get all major fuel cards and look for best discounts on their apps. TCS most of the time wins them all ...50c to 80c off list price.

I use a app ,get upside, I pay the pump price and they give me a rebate which varies in amount . You use a debit or credit card, setup a profile, when you cash out your saved rebate amounts you can put it on a gift card of your choice that's on the app or direct deposit to your bank

Just like regular unleaded gas here in Abilene Texas gas is anywhere from $2.39 to $3.10 a gallon. And that's only within a few blocks from each other. Insane.

Dude try the RXO fuel card I've been using it for awhile , daily reports on Fuel prices about all truck stops but the best discounts are Petro and TA's, I saved $1.39 average a gallon.pay full price at pump but your weekly statement(bill) shows all discounts, Merry Christmas.

I know Open Roads has a cap on how many gallons you can save on in a week. I follow trucking together and they max out the savings, that's for a team truck of course

The place I get fuel is the qt on exit 5 on I-95 in Hardeeville sc last time I fuel there it was $4.14 a gallon Wednesday don’t know what it is now but saw it as low as $4.09 at some mom and pops gas stations

All owners vehicle stop driving, smart tech driver fixing or call auto tech find water pump/thermostat/radiant hoses. Many drivers fix want magic trick pour most coolant or bad mix water …. it come start again.
