I had an argument recently with a lady over wether or not you know what you're doing. I brought you up saying that I love your videos and she goes "kitty lady does so much wrong!" She claimed that you have the kittens wrapped up 24/7, that kittens open their eyes after 2 days and start running around but you keep them in too small of a space, and that you feed them on their back then changed it to "you have to lay kittens completely flat on their stomachs and she holds them too angled!" I gave her the chance to say that she had you mixed up with someone else but she goes "no! I know her! She's a middle aged woman who looks like an average mom!" ...you're in your 20s covered in tattoos. After I showed her a photo she stopped.

Kitten Lady it's so sad to see people judge a book by its cover. I unfortunately currently don't have any cats or fosters😭(mostly because I don't have enough time) but I would love to one day!

"And the tiniest noodle of all!" It was heart wrenching watching you make the decision to euthanize the black kitten, but better a peaceful and painless sleep than putting a tiny life through a huge amount of trauma with little to no chance of survival. At least you put an end to her suffering. We had to put both our 17 year-old kitties to sleep last year, and although the decision is always painful I knew 100% without a doubt that it was the right thing. They let us know when it was the right time.

Thank you for sharing this story... It is so important for people to understand that rearing neonates is not all snuggles and bottles (you do a great job conveying that all of the time) and that even someone with an incredible amount of experience has to ask for help and sometimes a tiny life ends before it really gets a chance to start. It is hard to see, but is a fact that, even with the best care, things aren't always "ok". Thank you.

Thanks for your comment. I try to show that saving lives can be, and mostly is, very fun! But that it is also a serious and occasionally sad undertaking. It's all worth it.

It was worth it to the four you saved! Sad the fifth did not make it but that happens. Not every kitty makes it to twenty years. Not every kitty even makes it to two years. But those short lives are still meaningful, giving them a good life (as best one can) in the time they are here is what matters! Heck, even humans sometimes die at two or newborn, or don't make it to twenty. That's sadly part of life. That doesn't mean we should not try to save the lives (kitten, cat, human, dog, horse, etc) that are in our care.

to not let a small one suffer when there is no hope is the humane thing, like it or not, it hurts the heart and soul to do it but if you truly have love for them it is best. please drop your sarcasm and maybe google the definition of the word humane as i am not sure you fully grasp it. peace to Beep, with a few tears, and best wishes for the noodle bunch (i find little Soba's markings so lovely)

That's why we all need to spay and neuter our pets as early as possible, that's two months or two pounds for cats. That's why TNR is so important. We can prevent these heartbreaking situations from happening, one pet at a time.

I don't cry often, but this made me cry. Even if it's amazing that the other sweethearts made it, it breaks my heart that one kitten wouldn't survive in this fucking world. I'm so thankful for people like you. All animals deserve the love and care that you provide. Keep on fighting the good fight.

I love what they do. I feel a lot of love for the kittens. 2 weeks ago, adopt 2 kittens 21 days old. I am feeding you like you feed your baby kittens. They are growing very fast and healthy. To my baby kittens, the vet controls them. I congratulate them for the great work they do and with so much love. A big hug from Uruguay.

Lps Creator 101 Hello! I understand you doubt. I write in Spanish, my (native language) then I copy it and paste it into the Google translator, and I translate it into the English language. This is how I can participate in the comments. I love cats with all my heart, and every night, I see all kinds of video about them. Some sad and others happy. My big dream is to be able to learn the French language, since I have a friend from Belgium, and we communicate, in the same way, with the Google translator. Beep being a wounded kitten reminds me of when a tomcat attacked a litter and one of them died.... When we tried to take it away the mother cat didn't let us and embraced it 😭😭😭😭 She was so sad.....

Btw mar en, this also broke my heart. Animals don’t have souls and no dead person/animal will go to heaven and see their score to see if they go to heaven until the end of the world. But since they don’t have souls they won’t go to heaven. ;-;

I love how you love and care for kittens, it's truly amazing. You even stop in the middle of your trip to feed, potty, and make sure your kittens are ok. Hi dear Kitten Lady. I have been watching your videos for some months now and have watched and rewatched your instructional videos and have finally decided to apply for foster care of neonates for our local shelter after much deliberation! I have done it before for a shelter, but only during daytime when the actual foster was working, and never with my own nest of kittens. I'm a little nervous but mostly very very excited. Thank you so much for inspiring me to follow my heart and help save lives! And thank you for showing me the good *with* the bad - saving lives sadly also means sometimes knowing when to let a life go. Wish me luck!

Also, I have a question. Do you have experience with kittens having infectious diseases such as cat flu, giardiasis or fungi? If so, how do you make sure they don't re-infect themselves? For example, I know that giardia can be helped by washing everything at 70+ degrees Celcius but I imagine something like a bag or the snuggle kitty won't survive a washing like that. Any tips?

Sending them over the rainbow bridge is so hard. At least you were able to save the kittens siblings. I'm sure when you eventually pass on all the cats and kittens you saved will all be waiting for you.

There like a two precent chance a calico can be male probably even lower than that so that’s why she instantly said female

Male calicos can exist, but it’s super rare and they’re usually infertile. Cat fur color is coded for by sex chromosomes, and the way a male can be calico is by having two “X” chromosomes and one “Y” (XXY) which is a rare chromosome disorder that results in infertility.

I cried for the one kitten who didn't made it..... I know it's better for the little one but I think I wouldn't make it to let the little one go and cry for hours. Even I don't know the little one I just would cry so much.

I am so sad that little munchkin Beep didn't make it but I'm grateful he didn't have to suffer long. I'm so happy the other kittens are eating and doing well!!

Oh I just want to hug you two ! That you can have such love and compassion for a little fur ball you just met, and hurry to get to a vet to end its suffering.....I am the same way but most people think I'm nuts to care so much. We fostered a litter of 3 who were the exact same age/stage as these babies, just getting their eyes open. Watching you took me back to the round the clock care, every 3 hr.s, and my husband would suit up and show up to feed and care for them along with me (Did I fall so much deeper in love with him ? what do you think ?:) ) We were lucky to find good homes for them all, but then we fell totally in love with the last one to fledge, and I asked the adoptive parent if we could keep him and she said of course. Unfortunately there is no shortage of cats who need good homes. That little guy, who was born with one rear leg turned around all the way backward, turned out to be the biggest blessing for me. We worked with him and he gradually got his leg all the way down and facing forward & eventually walked on the pads. He is 6 yr.s old next month and I cannot imagine life without him. We saved them and then he ended up saving me......I was to go through so much physical trauma in the ensuing years, and he has been right there beside me. I love my Cooper boy more than I can express, - I love all my cats but he and I are so bonded. Well I ended up writing a freakin book here but I guess I needed to tell our story. THANKS for listening and for caring !

Once again, Hannah and Matthew to the rescue. Poor little Beep. Too fragile and compromised to survive, and you did the right thing, even though it was heartbreaking. These babies are just gorgeous - every single one of them, and for sure the tiny one, Soba, would not have made it much longer without your intervention. You rock 👍😻❤️

The lady that walks my dog found 5 (one of them was dead when she found them) baby kittens on the side of the road and let us take care of the remaining four. 2 passed away while i was asleep and one of them passed away in front of my eyes. I remember sobbing and begging my mom to take the last kitten to the vet even though i had to go to school. The last kitten lived long enough for us to return it to the dog walker, but it died shortly after. Rip little guys 😔

She had a necrotic prolapse. Her entire backside was a massive open wound. This was a medical issue.

THE TIME IS MEOW!- CyberKitten97 Last year I got a Siamese cat and a few weeks in we noticed she didn't eat that much, we took her to the vet and it turned out she had liver failure. We did everything we could, but she didn't make it. She was only 2 years old and her name was Josie, but I'm glad she didn't spend her last few weeks in an animal shelter.

Honestly breaks my heart that those people were so incapable of realizing that the one kitten needed care. I have so much respect for you to not call out those people and handle it the way you guys did. It's for sure an eye opener for me and hopefully for everyone as well. My cat just died on Good Friday from a clot in his bladder. The vet tried to same him with surgery and after surgery he passed in his sleep. They did CPR on him and nothing worked. I was crying for the whole weekend and never got my homework done and I'm depressed. This just reminded me of Romeo and he's in a better place and I loved him☁️😘

i'm sorry you had to make that decision. It must be really hard when you try all your hardest to save a little baby like that and realize that their really isn't much more you can do. You are such a saint to these tiny kittens! Part of me wishes I could do it but I know it takes a lot of time and effort. I am planning on hopefully donating some items to shelters, little bottles, blankets, etc. Thank you for doing this! It's so sweet!

Rest In Peace Sweet Baby!!! I can’t believe nobody took 5 minutes to check out the babies at the shelter. But I’m just glad that there IS a shelter. However, this world could def use more people with free time to volunteer.
