Necrit is so good at the lore that Riot added him as an actual character. He's something like Viego's chief scholar and apparently plays a decently big role in the Ruined King rpg.

@@jaimeruiz7837 Yes, you can say he is the Lorekeeper of Runterra who review every bit of the lores and somehow remember it better than Riot themselve. Riot got some of 40K story writer as their Loremaster and Necrit videos are learning meterial for them.

for the people that was in chat about elfs in LoL, no there are no elfs. Zoe is a aspect. we dont know what she looked like before or even what race but she is now beyond that. Janna is a wind goddess. what we see is what she projects to not scare us. they just did a rework and they showed her in what we believe is her true form and its more like morg and kayle. she has wings but no pointy ears. so no there are no elfs in LoL.

Wow had 8 playable races. If you keep Vastayan as 1 then the LoL mmo would have only 3 (presumably). I think Necrit is right in seperating the Vastayan tribes and for example only have 2 or 3 at launch and later expansions would be like "here is a new tribe, now you can play as a (insert animal) vastaya!" would be more hype then saying "we added 3 new hairstyles to the vastayan race so you can change your look from fox to lion."

Yordle, human, vastayan. They can go further with minotar, naga, and dragonoid. The trolls, and yeti, whatever rengar is. I doubt we will end up getting playable void creatures or even ascended but there are plenty of neutral inteligent humanoid races in the lore. Just never know how far they want to go with "monster" races

Human, Yordle and Vastayan are the major races of Runeterra but there are also some minor races such as Minotour, Trolls, Sea Vastayan, Living Dead of Shadow Isle and Yetis.

To the guy who committed that garanție has magic, I know im late and stuff but it grind my gears, sorry. The sword Garen summons from the Sky is not HIS magic. They venerate the aspect of justice(kayle) so he just call her to aid him in battle so she responds. So basically Garens ult is Kayle's magic

45:55 just as an FYI you can't do that in the MMO because unlike league of legends the MMO will be canon to the world(confirmed by the devs) unlike league of legends which is a non canon game. 51:25 while janna may look like an elf she is in no way one. she's a spirit and doesn't have an actual form just looks like what the ppl precieve her as.

On that note, do you think there should be a small side quest (albiet hidden) in shurima about Amumu? In the official lore, Amumu has never been seen or involved in anything, he is only a legend and nothing else. The most existence he has in the universe is in the game, but as you said that's not lore.

@@jansonshrock2859 personally i don't i think lore wise amumu has a very incredible potential. but they would have to rework his lore (one that i think would still work) IMO reworking him to actually be a yordle (which ppl asume) and make a connection for the explenation of a major loophole left open in the Lore. that being why are yordles immortal? because we know that practically everything (even gods like Aurelian sol and Kindred) eventually experiance death (as confirmed by the mask mother) yet somewhow yordles are the exception? a great explenation would be that in her early age the mask mother tryed making a god of death for the yordles tried doing something new and it failed and backfired immencly this would thus make Amumu the one she experimented on resaulting in his curse (which is especially devestating to a creature that is so dependant on interactions as the yordles are) make amumus curse a very regretable mistake, make him one of the only true undead yordles and leaving him as a possible object of worship for a character like Vex. again this is my personal interpretation of how i would rework the lore but it's one i'm very attached to as it explains a few plotholes, expend on both the concepts of the yordles and the gods of death in the universe and a few other things. all while making amumus story imo a lot more engaging.

-Janna is not an elf, she a primal wind spirit... Literally wind taken human form. I doubt anyone (not actually working at riot) knows more about league than Necrit. If he says there are no elves, I would dare bet ALOT of money there arent and that every you believe is an elf is actually not.

if its classless i think some skills and passives would be locked on certain weapon types for balance reasons or some skills have different stats depending on weapon But lets see how riot gonna approach classes on their mmo

Either the girl in the raptor (nor the big guy alongside Darius and so on) are "random" NPCs, they're well known, but just not as champions... Also, even tho it's fun to make memes about fuck an animal as the creation of the vastaya, that race were created like... 12.000 years ago (that's far the data is known) when Titans fell from the sky and started a war against Ionia, so the people that defended the region needed more strength in order to win against the Titans, they merged their spirit with the spirit magic from the spirit realm of Ionia, giving place to the Vastaya'shai'rei. The first generation of furrys, after them they started expand with normal people so the Vastaya'shai'rei power went "leaking" to the Vastaya, that are way far in power that the original race, but still with a higher connection to the spirit realm than the normal human (except Shen cuz... He's that op and Karma because she's the Avatar of the region)

That's probably some outdated stuff. I haven't ever heard about any "Titans" in LoL lore, though I've been following its current iteration for some time. And Vastaya'shai'rei likely existed before humans.

the issue isn't the story, or the world setting, etc. The issue is will it feel good to push buttons, because WoW is and is consistently the best at that.

WoW players are on so much copium. WoW's combat is trash especially compared to like 80% of modern MMO's, main reason why I'm not playing the game anymore after I first experienced action combat in MMO's like Black Desert or Blade and Soul, going back to WoW feels so boring.

@@josephteller9715 The discussion is about combat in case you didn't know. In that regard WoW is one of the worst MMO's out there in this day and age. Aslo, I know they are P2W, I only played them for a bit but didn't need more than a week to realize how extremely better the combat is.
