Potato is called “yang yu” in Yunnan. It’s found everywhere in our daily life, yet no one seems to pay special attention to it. Potato is the fifth most important staple crop in the world, second only to wheat, corn, rice and sorghum. As a staple food, it’s nutritious and satisfies hunger, having saved numerous lives in the world. As a vegetable, it’s versatile and delicious; it goes well with any seasonings and can be made into any dishes. Potato is deeply incorporated into the Yunnan people’s diet and life. It’s not only a food, but also something they love and part of a ritual of life.

It was amusing when Ahao started frying the potatoes it was still a bit bright outside then cut to him still frying when it was getting dark. Plus his complaint "I've fried them for a long time, how come they aren't still done yet?" 😂

Все красиво и еда и природа, но посмотрев видио понимаешь какой тяжёлый труд в сельской местности особенно когда таскают на себе эти мешки с картофелем минимум 50 кг мешок максимум 70 это не мыслимо девушке нести такую ношу. the potatoes grown in yunnan look interesting with different colours for the skin and flesh, albeit of the ones grown in the andes. the purple potato reminds me of the purple yam or taro and sweet potato that are commonly used in desserts.

In case anyone is wondering, zanthoxylum is basically sichuan peppercorn. I had to google it. There are at least eight species of zanthoxylum used for spice. Presumably, Penjie uses a local species, zanthoxylum acanthopodium perhaps? Wikipedia says it's similar to sichuan pepper, but more lemony.

Zan shui La is a general name for very spicy chills in Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan in South West of China. We have different types of chill peppers there. Some of them can be so hot that you just dip one chill in the boiling soup, then take it out after 30 sec, and the whole pot of soup will be very spicy. Zan Shui means dipping source, and La means chills and spices in the dipping source.

@@beaconlight4720 Лизиги редко выпускает свои ролики, и она творческая натура много дизайна, шьёт хорошие наряды, печёт в печи, у неё как у мешленовском ресторане подача блюд, а эта девушка скромно кормит свою многочисленную семью из простых продуктов, она очень позитивная и приятная, но не может скопировать Лизиги они очень разные.

Hello, I am a big fan of your channel and the whole family. I am very glad to see your relatives all doing so well and the signs that financially you are so much stronger. You take such good care of everyone Penji, especially your grandparents. Just a suggestion, and I know you may have already tried to do this, how about some dental implants or dentures for your grandfather? He would benefit so much from them, I know you watch his food intake and nutrition very closely, it would be so much easier on him to enjoy his favorites with the ability to chew. I know how stubborn older people can be, my mother is 93 and talking her into something she doesn't want is darn near impossible. Best to you all.....

Еще заметила, что картошку они редко едят, в сезон только. А у нас круглый год, без картохи никуда. Жареная, варенная и пюрЕ( из Девчат) 😁👍

@@HiranukaPoRojly.123 меня вилы удивили в виде тяпки которыми они копали или выкапывали. Фрукты они и в Африке фрукты и в РФ фрукты одни и те же в магазинах.
