When my grandmother was still alive we used to watch her videos almost everyday that I’m very sure we already watched all of them. When my grandma passed away I stopped watching her videos for awhile. I don’t know, I feel so sad, Liziqi’s grandma reminds me of my late grandmother. I’m happy to finally say that today, I’m back to watch and support her again. I missed the peacefulness and calmness of her videos and I guess I’ll just imagine that my grandmother was still here beside me watching liziqi too.

Roses are such a gift. My Dad was always putting in rose bushes wherever we moved to. And, of course, being a Navy family, we had to keep moving. A new family would move in to a home with the lovely rose smell all around.😊

She is an artist. A true, pure and fine artist! She tells story/stories in each of her video. Inspiring. Mesmerizing. Captivating. Most profoundly, no narrative is given and yet every video is understood, inspired and connected by many across the globe. I stumbled into her video in early 2020. And wonder why a pretty girl would want to ruin her delicate hands working in the farm! I took a little time to find out her backgrounds. I was drawn to her and have upmost respect for her aesthetic, passion, and seeking for perfection. Her early videos has shown her aesthetic direction and her vision but it'd be nearly impossible to accomplish with film cinematography that can seen in her current videos now. Glad to know she has a videographer now whom she could discuss her vision and give her creative directions. The light in the video is amazingly good especially those at the kitchen. It is almost like an old-master painting. Film Editing is a time-consuming process. Very technical. Kudos to her! With passion many hurdles in life can be overcome. She has so much passion, fire, creativity and most of all imagination. Starting at 10:09, there is a role-reversal with Liziqi turning into mom and grandma turning into a little child. "You've watched so much TV, why not take a walk outside?". Then, again at 11:32, "Don't watch too much la, TVs are bad for your eyes." I can't remember how many times my mom admonished me like that when I was small. Liziqi and Grandma's interactions are so sweet. The era that the young takes care of the old is gone. Nowadays, I don't know how many youngsters will follow Liziqi's example to stay around and take care of their parents or grand parents when they get old. I wholeheartedly commend Liziqi's sense of filial duty. Her kind is an endangered species. On another topic, Liziqi's selection of BGM is heavenly. I enjoy highly the BGMs of all her videos. However, I can't find the first BGM of this episode, although I have the other 3. If someone can identify the first BGM, I would highly appreciate.
