Had to laugh here, just went through the same thing on a smaller scale. As a retired carpenter, I always worked with 2x4 or 4x4's, never big timber. Shortly after I retired I sold my 1980's 8 1/4" B&D Super Sawcat and bought a lighter 7 1/4" Makita . . . all good until my son asked me to help him build a fence with 6 x 6 posts (something new since we had always used 4 x 4's). You guessed it, with the 7 1/4 Makita I had to cut all four sides of the 6 x 6 and then finish off with the handsaw in the middle, got on my nerves. So that evening I looked for the 8 1/4" Super Sawcat; the new version was the DeWalt DW384, but they ceased production of it in 2018. So I checked Craigslist and, believe it or not, someone had a brand new one in an unopened box - I ran right over and got it. At max depth it will do 3" so that the 6 x 6 just needs to be rolled once, like you did with the Super Sasquatch. I won't buy a 7 1/4" anymore.

You guys should check out the Sawquatch Chansaw. You could do that in 1 cut! Great video!

This entire beam burnt to the ground, while the residents were evacuated, during the latest and greatest wildfires! 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Buddy just get you an 18 inch chain saw. It would cost you a lot less and take less time.

Get Skilsaw a chain beam for that size of a timber you'll never go back

Makita has sold a 16-5/16 beam saw for almost 30 years, it’s not some new thing. Complete waste of money having one guy stand there who’s only purpose is to roll the beam. Painful to watch

Yeah, but when "others" do it, it's not painful. Such a tiny brain 🧠

Exactly! We've had Italians, Irish men, Poles, Chekoslovakians, Dutch. Australians, Canadians, Argentinians(these typically just overstay their visas) Russians, Spaniards etc. They were also known as"birds of migration" in early American history. You should check theirs also.
