I wish you would have just used another bulb to exceed the amperage limit to see what would happen. Obviously a total short will trigger it. But how far over the limit does it take to shut down power? Thumbs Up!

Zafer bey merhaba Videonuzun başligi çok yanliş neden derseniz cam sigorta olasi elektrik konttagindan kaynaklanacak yanginlarin cikmamasini saglar. Diger pptc ise daha çok motor ve bobinlerde max sevide cekilen akimi kontrol etmek icin kullanilmakta.. Saygilarimla.

Этим предохранителям уже много лет, что с ними знакомиться? Они кстати имеют много недостатков, медленные, ненадёжные, не обеспечивают полный разрыв цепи, подвержены старению, имеют большое падение напряжения. Но иногда удобны, да.

Yhe disadvantage of this type of fuse is that you cannot use it where it gets hot like inside an amplifier. Has the fuse blown, there is a reason for that and you should not turn it off and on again several times? Glass fuse has its place in electronics!

Ese componente va a salvar muchos artefactos apartir de hoy. 😄 Apesar de que esta componente salio hace mas de 10 años atras, pero no era tan fiable o eficaz.

حرکت خوبی نیست ،چون عملکرد اتصال کوتاه فیوز شیشه ای واکنش میکرو ثانیه ای داره ولی این ممکنه به مدارات الکترونیک آسیب بزنه 🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐

The author is misleading his viewers. This is overload protection and does not provide any protection against short circuits. Only fuses should be used for overload protection. There are many varieties of fuses for different operating conditions. For example, fuses are used to protect electronic equipment. Your "fuse" will burn out after your equipment deteriorates.
