Spirit and Opportunity landed on Mars in 2004 PST (Jan. 4 and Jan. 25 UTC). Both rovers lived long past their intended lifespans with Opportunity outlasting Spirit by just over 10 years. Opportunity worked nearly 15 years on Mars and drove more miles than any rover.
