Транзистор так-то является функциональным аналогом электровакуумного триода, собственно, на этапе своего становления транзистор именовался полупроводниковым триодом.

Eu tinha um amigo, o Lorenzo, nos 70's, 80's, q fazia verdadeiras "mágicas" com válvulas eletronicas e circuitos diversos com transistores e CIs, o cara era um gênio. Eu era aprendiz e ajudante dele. O problema dele é q consumia muita droga tipo optalidon, vivia doidão.🧐🤦‍♂️😅

That looks like a beam tetrode to me (quasi pentode). A useful audio output valve, and not so different to a 6V6.

The 6L6 is similar in appearance to the 6V6, but completely different in terms of characteristics. Even EL34 is much closer.

Permíteme decirles que más que un transistor eran circuitos integrados muy eficientes pero muy calientes el primer número es el voltage del filamento de echo en los conciertos grandes se utilizan equipos de bulbos pues son más confiables pues no fallan y su fidelidad es mejor que los de transistores

Hasta hase poco existian eran los tubos de rayos catódicos (cinescopios y las pantallas de plasma ojo. No confundir con LCD )

No confundas las cosas, el transistor fue un nombre que se inventó exclusivamente para el dispositivo de estado sólido, para separarlo del resto de los demas por su relevancia, nunca para el tubo de vacío o bulbo que ya llevava decadas produciendose cuando apareció el transistor.

I'm just old enough to remember valves !they were being phased out for transistors when i was a kid. If you want to play with mini particle accelerators they are still available. For electronics enthusiasts build amplifiers or practically any other device we use with transistors today. Ist called a Valve (Tube)It contains a Heater ,Cathode(electron emitter), three controll Grids and a positive Plate(Plate) to collect the electrons. The two pins he is connected across is the heater for the (cathode)the source of electrons. Max voltage applied is 6volts ac or dc was usually supplied by a secondary winding on a transformer. It is also known as the heater its like your cooker it heats a pan in front of it the electrons boil off and are accelerated towards the control grids which control how the electrons are collected by the plate. The plate was set at + 300V or +400V volts depending on mode you are using . You can set it to run in Triode mode or beam pentode mode its a high sensitivity amplifier and is used in many amplifier designs. Looks like a mini particle accelerator. Part of a class of electronics also known as thermionics,phased out now😢 We have FET'S which in some ways are the solid state versions of valves(tubes if your American). Old style TV tubes were front end of the technology ,we still have millions of analog oscilloscopes/TVs(getting rarer!). To me they are a better technology,but that's another topic.
