I have owned my Flylight BivvyBee SSDR microlight / ultralight for almost 4 years and in this video, I will share with you the story of my ownership and the amazing things this aircraft has enabled me to experience.
However all good things must come to an end. In this video, I'll reveal what is coming next??

Ian, I’m hoping my BlackBull with 33Bhp should be more than adequate to fly the Nine. In the long term, I may retire the BlackBull and replace with something bigger. 👍

@@tomcoryell not sure yet. I’m keeping the trike unit. Will probably sell the wing. The jury’s out on whether I keep my current engine or maybe get something I bit bigger in the future. 👍

I look forward to your Nine video! Just wondering how you mounted the Sky Echo? is that a GroPro mount?

Flylight have been good enough to loan me their development Nine wing which I am hoping to fly either this evening or tomorrow morning so I will have a couple of GoPros running. And yes, the SkyEchi is mounted onto the front strut with nothing more than a GoPro mount. It’s simple and it works! 👍

I live in the States, own an Aeros ANT with a Polini 250, and have a wing like yours (Fox 13TL)... so I'll be interested in hearing how it compares. I don't need to fly super fast (another 10 - 15 mph would be fine with me) but I'd like a wing that has lighter handling, and is better in turbulent mid-day conditions. Can I ask why you didn't just purchase the NINE and use it on your existing trike? When I purchased my ANT I also had a Black Bull for power. However, I had three exhaust failures in under two months and Aeros agreed to exchange it (I had to pay the difference) for a Polini 250. What engine will you be getting? I hate to jinx my Polini, but after three flying seasons it's been doing well. Thanks for the video.

That is exactly what I have done. I have bought the Nine wing and will be putting it on my existing trike and will be flying it with my BlackBull which I am assured should have ample power to fly the wing. When I fly it, I will make a video showing how it flies with the BlackBull and how it compares to the Fox 13tl. Stay posted. 👍

Just the Nine wing, or the trike too?

Hi Graham. Just the wing. The trike unit I have is essentially the same as the Nine trike. My BlackBull engine should be more than adequate to fly the Nine wing although there may be an upgrade to a larger engine down the line. I’ll keep you posted. 👍
