TBH, the process to get a Rolex has so turned me off post-Pandemic that I have lost interest in Rolex and their Authorized Dealers. Too many significant events in my life have passed without one AD offering me a chance to buy ONE Rolex, so I found other fantastic brands. The new factory you mentioned in this video is expected to be opened in 2029, and add a year for the production of Rolex watches, and the expected date to get a Rolex without a $250,000+ spend history is 2030. I am not sure where the host came up with 2025 as supply matching demand. Plus another dose of reality, Rolex is more concerned about resale value then selling to new customers as it goes "up scale". This means that the new CEO will cut production to make it seem that Rolex watches are scarce if supply gets ahead of demand. Why driving up gray market prices on the gray market is so important to Rolex I have no idea. I was not expecting to buy a Daytona, I wanted to start with a 41MM Oyster Perpetual, and move up. But my local AD still insists in empty cases and making me buy watches/jewelry that I do not want. In a peer-to-peer relationship this turns me and most collectors who have dignity off completely.

I waited 3 months February through May 2024 I went to the store least two to three times a month just to check in and chit chat 15 to 20 minutes we talked about the weather cars vacations not just watches only thing in my purchase history was an Omega Seamaster

we went to an AD 2 weeks ago, our wishes are registred (that s what the seller told us) an op 41 grey for me and an op 31 grey for my wife, so the "waitlist/wishlist" still exists

I've seen so many of these clips claiming that its the end of the waitlist, but I still can't get a SS sports model. Only the 2 tone and solid gold pieces are available as a walk in purchase, and those have always been available.

Rolex authorized dealers are not going to sell a model that trades in the secondary market for $5k, $10k, $15k, $20k or more above Msrp witho😢a purchase history and loyalty to them by first purchasing other models that sell at Msrp or below Msrp first. PERIOD!!!!! That is the reason a stainless steel Daytona sell on the secondary market for double Msrp. If I spend between $10k to $20k per year for 15 years they will probably offer me the stainless steel Daytona we are talking 15 years and spending $150k to $300k after being offered the stainless steel Daytona so you can rest assured that I will not sell it and if I did don’t expect to buy it from me for less than double Msrp! DOES THAT MAKE SENSE!!!!!

Rolex at this point is a tainted brand - mecca of wannabes and posers. Rolex is not worn by rich and successful. It's worn by people who want to be seen as rich and successful. Big difference. Don't get me wrong, I like subby, but wearding it in 2024 would feel like wearing 'designer Crocs'.

planty of better watches then rolex, omega,blancpain,jc, lets that rolex continue sitting on back door and dealers losing money don't selling it, you will see just in short time full shelfs rolex made watches no one buying. rolex even don't offer you open back case ( nothing to see, its just simple machine made like casio, nothing hand made decorating), don't be a stupid following that marketing ,buy real watches, and you will be more happy than buying rolex.
