Yoooo I totally forgot about this song and I was scrolling through the “similar artist” and remembered the artist for this song. It kept me alive, it kept me sane and now looking back on it, I barely remember the pain, the trauma. It gets better! You just need to give yourself the permission to heal and know it’s okay to let go.

I have always listened to this song when I felt sad for a long time now. Today I didn't stay up till 4 am when everyone was asleep to cut myself. I started to but then this song came on and I didn't do it. I dropped razor and cried. I didn't cry because of how bad I felt about everything and how cruel another human being can be to another, but because I was disappointed in my self. I have cuts on my inner and outer ankles, on my thighs, my belly, hands, wrists, arms, and shoulders. It started out with sharp rocks. Then it went to doing in a cold shower with a razor, then it went to staying up late adding hundreds until I fall asleep. Every night I stay up and add some more, :( but tonight I didn't because of this song. :) Thank you for every thing, Braden Barrie. You truly are th greatest thing to ever happen to me. I can't wait until the day I get to meet you in person.

I remember listening to this song when it came out a very long time ago. I was very depressed due to being in an abusive household, but I’ve gotten out. Recovery has been a long process, but one I can say that I’m definitely proud of. This song helped a lot back then.

I've suffered from depression since I was 10 and I started cutting when I was 11, I've gotten better, But I still feel like self harming. I used to smoke too. I've attempted suicide 6 times with pills and once with cutting. *Sigh* I've been 2 months clean. Holy hell.

Reading comments. I've never cut, I've never had the experience many of you have. But trust me when I saw everything will be okay. Yea yea, it cheesy. But still, you have a chance to live your life to the fullest, to become anything you want, to do anything you please. Don't think you should go and die because its bad now, just look at what's coming, a wife/or husband, kids, a job that you could enjoy. All it takes is hard work and I promise you that it will be okay. If you are struggling, then put the razor down, take a deep breath, go for a walk, and realize that things will get better, as long as you take the chance in believing it. Because hell, Im a stranger writing this- and I believe in you :)

This is the first video I ever saw of his. I went from not knowing who he was to going to two different Warped Tours just to meet him. He was the absolute most sweetest person I ever met, and his show was incredible, and he stayed long after his show was over just to meet hundreds of us, even when so many merch tents were being torn down and being put away. I got my first tattoo last week that says "You're as beautiful as you were yesterday" thanks to him. He is honestly the most kindest and sweetest person this Earth has ever gotten.

I used to cut myself, and this song really helped me, so quit being insensitive. Not everyone does it to "fit in" or "seem cool"; some people have serious issues with it. If you don't know anything about self harm aside from the fact that it's harming yourself don't make a fool of yourself and leave an offensive comment. I mean I'll admit now, it wasn't actually helping me, I just convinced myself it was, and it's a stupid thing to do. People who do it aren't stupid, they're just sad and looking for a way to cope. We all have our own addictions whether it's self-harm, eating, losing weight, alcohol, drugs or south park. Also if you're currently going through self-harm or self-harm related issues, know you can get better, people want you to get better, and help is available, and you can get that help anonymously. Back when it was a serious problem for me, I never thought I'd be able to stop, I never thought I'd find it inside me to flush my blades, and when I did, it wasn't from an instagram post or someone telling me to do it, it was because I wanted to. So believe me when I say you can make it, I know that any type of recovery looks unreachable, but within that word is "reach" and "able", so if you reach you'll be able to make it. I promise.
