I had no clue that DPR Ian was in this MV, so when I watched it for the first time, I freaked out so much. And then I couldn't focus any more on what was happening from the moment I realised he was there 😆

Ahh before I forget it. you missed that IU's eyes were glowing yellow at important scenes 1. When she saw the missing piece ( golden bat) 2. When she turned off the lights like insanity did in the miito movie

A great reaction, thank goodness at last from a fan of I.U and DPR Ian, thank you so much. The MV has a lot of influences and references coming straight from Christian, like the eye colour changing, I.U’s eyes change at one point, the sunset sky in the desert as seen in DPR Ian MV’s, the painting behind I.U in one scene (DPR Ian often has significant paintings in his videos). The MV has a lot of butterflies, they can signify transformation and freedom. I’ve also looked up that Koreans believe catching a jellyfish will bring them good luck and prosperity. 🍭👁🪼🦋

seeing how christian is def bringing mito in shopper i suppose we can anticipate more exposure of mito in dreamlike concepts with other artists more and more maybe? seeing how this mv almost confirms that the other side / dream world has more magical beings than just mr. insanity, mito and mr green and established iu/ shopper to be someone of magical abilities and powers in this dreamlike world like you said the constant confetti gives it dreamlike vibes so this could very much be the other side. i think its been a while since we've seen such a lighthearted whismsical side of mito and omg i love this so so much. ahhhhhhh love to dpr visual ian team cause wow, the storyline, well thought out details and easter eggs , i'm in awe everyday

Love that I went straight to your channel as soon as I realized IAN was in this vid 😂 I’m so trained to pour over every detail of his MVs by your other reactions that my MITO senses were immediately triggered when Christian closed his left eye at 15:59 LOL. Poor guy is probably just squinting into the sun but it did get a little “Oh?? MITO CONTENT??” out of me (followed by a full-on scream over the easter egg in the credits) but it’s definitely nice to see him just having a good time on a different project!! You have the best reactions to DPR IAN's videos. Really enjoy seeing them. And how you figure out things just before they happen is impressive. And your reaction to the MITO voice at the end was amazing. I totally didn't even clock that. Just though it's a repeat of the introduction narration. And the carousel might be a nod to Merry Go. And there are total parallels to previous videos of the Mitoverse (including CL's 5 STAR). I included some side by side frames in my react video. I believe this must be part of the whole lore. To me, she's probably Miss Understood. He didn't show such parallels in Dabin's videos, so this must be very intentional and not just his typical visual style. And I wonder what the end frame was too. What's the snow globe for? I think it might be something that foreshadows the next video. Christian seems to do that. Also, the lollipop in the car, I interpreted as her pretending it's a gun. Maybe it's magical and looks like that to him?

Hi, i am back. Good reaction, ty. I had fun rewatching with u. Read some of the lyrics too. Forgot to do it yesterday. The visuals and vocals come 1st for me. Oh cool i was not aware he directed the MV. That explains why he in it. She used the lollipop as a gun to hold him hostage is how i see it, lol. Such a feel good song.
