Maybe she'll play around more now and find more of she likes on her body. ^^ I like episodes that give confidence to the brides.

i wish they could put the top of the second dress on the skirt of the first one (for bride 2). not only would it have been her dream dress, all those slinky mermaid dresses just don't feel very bridal to me. it's like all the decor just stops at the hips and there's a couple yards of straight white spandex fabric hanging the rest of the way down.

I don't know about "catering," though...all these dresses are made for the 20 some, size 0-4 body. Who's very flat in front, especially in the hips/belly. She's never bigger than a 36C. Anyone else needs flat-out corsets to make the dress look right. It's what they did up to the 60s. That's why they clothes look great. You wouldn't want to be walking down the street and your belly or hips is all people notice. Where they don't even SEE you. I think the little girl should use lighter eye makeup. Again, it's very distracting from her face. Considering she's got a perfect figure, that she said she had fat hips is insane. She's no bigger than a 4. That's crazy. Wait'll she's 45 and had kids...she'll look back at herself here in envy. Have you be real careful with all these shiny dresses being over a size 4. Any "fat" will look like it's got a big spotlight on it. No dressmaker apparently thinks about that. And ALL flat front dresses need corsets if you're not already flat across the hips/belly.

Yeah, no. Let's not delude ourselves. I've been asked at least 4x. Most men want a mommy to take care of them. Do their laundry. Cook. Clean up after them. Have their kids and take care of them. And the list goes on and on... It's not at all advantageous to women. You can get educated and do all that yourself without being expected to be a cook, maid and so on...then, when you get tired of them (it WILL happen sooner over later; watch long married people either never talk to each other or just constantly bicker) you can just walk in most states without a problem. Stay out of common law states. Some men want someone to dominate and abuse. I've seen that at least twice. They always act so shocked, too. Like, they clearly look out only for themselves and why do you need to ALSO go along with them doing that? 🤔 Don't give out your ring size. Just make sure you never get pregnant and stay educated with trade school skills so you NEVER have to rely on anyone. You can get educated free. Particularly with trade schools. Very few women in such great paying jobs. Nothing will mess up your life more than a bad situation with kids and a husband who does nothing buy take advantage. Ask any woman married a long time. None are rushing to do it again. I think it's a form of control both by men and society. To romanticize it (the inescapable princess bit) and push you that way so you're dependent on someone else.

I'd bring my mum and future messages there in law. Both of them are respectful and considerate. I have no concerns about either of them being rude or demanding...I think it depends on who you want to bring and your relationship with them...

Quite often the family are paying. Plus it's good to have a second opinion who isn't making a commission off your choice. The problem is with the show is that the producers get them to bring a whole entourage- and they usually pick people that will be problematic for drama

My mum would be devastated if I didn’t take her & I’d definitely want her there. I know we’d have some disagreements about style (as we have done in the past in normal dress shopping), but we’ve always managed to agree in the end. And we’ve both pre-agreed that as long as it’s not strapless it’s great lol. My poor sister-in-law looked stunning in her dress but was hoiking it up all day because it had no straps. I’d definitely be softening her up in advance with loads of Pinterest pics so she was used to my desire for a unique dress though.
