Can we just point out how lucky the bride is to be getting that mother-in-law. She is supportive of bride and respectful of her mother. Such a sweet lady. Wish my MIL was like that. Mine is passive aggressive and will smile as she lies to your face.

What I love about Lancashire is that they pin the dress to fit the bride exactly where they would take it in, instead of just clamping the back. I feel like it makes all the difference in how the bride sees what the dress would actually look like when it fits her.

I love how Gok stares at his brides face as they see themselves in a dress for the first time. Hes watching for that reaction so he can immediately judge the next step to either keep that happy, or keep looking for it. Hes so conscious and aware of his brides, and has their utmost happiness at the forefront. I adore him.

I love how this version lets the bride and her family tell their story. I always found David, Lori and the others talked way too much, almost to deliberately manipulate the audience. The focus should be on the bride; Gok’s only job is to make her look and feel beautiful and he gets that.

These women are the most considerate, of not only the bride, but of each other. I especially applaud the Mother-in-Law for being so considerate of her Mother. After umpteen years of watching thes shows, I haven't seen that.

I do respect the bride's choice but the first dress was breathtakingly beautiful. I had goosebumps looking at the dress.

Well, it’s her choice obviously and that’s all that matters. But I was vastly underwhelmed by dress #2. She could have tried on the same style but a little more glitzy, and I might have liked it better. Something about her choice was off.

I love the way in the Lancashire episodes they actually present the bride all decked up with the veil and all...brings out a much more honest reaction from the entourage....instead of the American episodes where they all hate the dress and then "say yes to the veil" smh!

I mean it's her dress & if she felt the butterflies then. But in my opinion the second dress is nothing special. It's like a hundred other dresses I have seen in most "SYTD" versions.

The halter princess dress was the one they all said " Oh, wow" that was the wow dress for sure! Of course it's the brides pick of the one she loves.

The first dress was gorgeous. They could have found one not so heavy. That last dress was ok.

That mom did something my dad would always do to me. I can understand why parents do that, they want to be sure their kids can make the choice on their own and wouldn't care what anyone else thinks of their choice. However, it is nice to have the support in such an important decision and I admire this mom for admitting she actually loves the dress. ❤❤❤❤ If it were my dad, he would've kept going and poking jokes and trying to seed more doubt. 😂 Truly there is a line, and I admire Hamnah's mom for knowing where the line is. Such a beautiful supportive family! 😊❤❤

For those who don't like the added straps, remember, that's not gonna be how it looks. The are gonna do it in a matching lace so it blends more, plus its what the BRIDE wanted. It doesn't matter if you think it ruins the dress. She wanted the strap and that's all the matters. Also, I love that the mother loved it but wanted to see if her daughter could say yes without her approval. In a way it is almost testing the daughter, to see if she can stand up to what she loves even if it would disappoint her mother.

I’m with mom that first dress was incredible on her and just showstoppingly gorgeous, the second one was an underwhelming change.

I actually love this Mom. She really did have her daughter's best interest in mind and I really think she did love the dress because her daughter put her foot down that it was what she wanted. It was that letting go and letting her child be who she decided to be and it was beautiful.

It was good to see the bride make her own choice and not bow to her moms opinion. I think mom was being passive aggressive about it, she pretended she like it all along in the end, but really she wanted her daughter to bend and go with the princess dress. That’s some serious mind games.
