Not my genre but I always listen to their solo release I liked Criminal on his previous EP but this album will surprise you. Found several songs I really like. From house hatdog here happy sa mga Sisiw you will love this album.

Felip is a difficult artist to understand. I admit it could be relative as well. What I don't like maybe what others may most like. Anyway, I did a quick rundown of the 9 songs. What I can digest is "lust" and a bit of "ache". Actually, Felip has the tons of potential to create generally digestible songs. Maybe Felip is on a period where he is mostly preoccupied with the angst. I wish Felip will mellow down a bit and give a sweeter music a chance. Well, if he sticks to the non-compromising stance, I can respect him. Felip needs just to saturate himself with this kind of genre. After that, am seeing he can be willing to be near mainstream. I maybe wrong the way I see things of Felip. Just my take.

I love most of his songs in this album, and I think the concept of the album is all about 7 sins reason why I understand most songs have dark vibe, however on a personal note, I agree with your take at some point as most of Felip's songs are kinda dark, which probably came from some of his disappointing or negative experiences in life, he is an amazing artist and I also hope that his next album will have a brighter vibe, he should stop reading negative comments about him for him to avoid getting emotionally affected, I think he's the kind of person who easily get's affected by the negativity in his environment and couldn't avoid voicing his opinion through his music, he needs to see the good side of everything, bad comments can also make you famous...nonetheless this album is amazing and will enjoy it 'til the next album and like you im hoping it'll be a brighter and happy vibe one to see him happy as well...wishing him all the best.

The songs of felip make you focus while listening, because every single words have a deep meaning just make you realize . If don't focus , you miss an important message of his song
