that is true, but do you think someone who made a Sonic Fan character this universally received wouldn't say "yes, you can make her part of the series cannon" if Sega struck a deal with them? though that said, given artist ownership issues were the reason the Archie Sonic got canceled its iffy that Sega would even bother, still its not impossible since Sonic Mania it's self proves Sega is willing to try a fan oriented approach to get things back on track.

"It's different, so it sucks" about sums it up. Don't get me wrong, Generations isn't an _amazing_ game -- it's still pretty good either way -- but what keeps it from being so doesn't have to do with anything like 2D Sonic's fuckin' physics.

No, that was Sonic Adventure. Sonic Adventure 2 was the worst offender from that time, though. Sonic Generations keeps that garbage to a minimum, incidentally.

The Achievement store works on the honor system and if you wanna be a scumbag then sure be a scum bag but me I got all my trophies legit and I bought the stupid ones like walking around shortless for an hour and Super Upgrade my Pods when I would rather super upgrade my weapons. The Profesionalist I'm kind of with you on that. Grew up with Sonic Heroes and never really got into the classic sonic games. Then again, I don't consider myself a "fan", because I mostly by Pokémon games.

Don't be in a rush to use fancy words you read on the internet but don't understand just because someone said something you don't like. The way someone truly feels about something isn't subjective; it's in fact one of the few things in the world that isn't. Moreover, the things I state related to my opinion are irrefutably true, and thus not at all subjective -- you do have to come to a complete stop to spindash, and the game is extremely heavily influenced by Sonic CD, regardless of your opinion on either of those facts -- except for Freedom Planet being a better game, which it is anyway, whether you agree or not. I could go into why, but I'd rather just play it than waste my time swaying someone's bias. To reiterate, bite me.
