Xenoverse 2 had Super characters, with Hit in the main roster and others being DLC. But Hit was more of just a bonus character as, this new game has the benefit of being released after two major arcs of Super that aren't movie retellings have been finished, giving plenty of new material.

I kinda hope that the Arksys crossover fighter leads to a RWBY fighter in the future, especially since RWBY literally has allowances for OCs built into the setting. Monty Oum thought of almost everything. 21's design makes me think of Launch more than a bit, so I'm pretty happy with it. I'd rather see how she plays, however.

I should go back and watch or read this series because I don't know what anyone is talking about with this game but it looks really cool. I watched the first twelve or so episodes of the original Dragon Ball so I think it's cool that Yamcha is in it.

They did say they wanted character they don't normally do in the game and so far that doesn't seem to be a thing, which is a shame cause I'd love to see zarbon just for kicks and the catgirl who fought vegeta. Also as correction for woolie and pat: Arksys doesn't put their own oc's into the games, in both p4 arenas those were characters they planned to be in the games. Arksys doesn't just get to put whatever in the games it makes no sense. (and is debunked by the producers/creators.)

Jiren _might_ be in -- the game may be too far in development for him -- and Hit will probably be in, if only because SSGSS Goku has a direct reference to him in his moveset. Beerus will probably be in; Whis will probably not be. Cabba and the other Saiyan fanfiction dumpster characters suck, so I hope they're _not_ in, but I wouldn't be surprised one way or the other; that's a pure coin flip. Kale's case is hurt at the very least by the god damn _outrage_ there would be if she was in and Broly wasn't, and both of them in the same game is redundant, so she's a safe bet to be out. Woolie is foolish to hope for Dragon Ball characters. Arale is the closest possible chance as an inclusion from back then, if only because she'd make a great joke character that could also legitimately beat at least half the cast, but she's not even actually a Dragon Ball character. I'd like to see end-of-Dragon Ball Chichi, but she can't hang with the rest of the cast, _and_ she's not a joke character, so. He's not Super or original Dragon Ball, but Bardock'll be in, even if there's... no reason for him to be, as there never is, and it never stops them any other time, either.
