I want to remind all of you that Battlefront 3 was being made just after the original Battlefront 2, but it was cancelled. Just look up the alpha for the game and you'll see that the alpha alone has more content and ambition than EA's Battlefront series.

I never played the first one because it had no singleplayer, i didn't even touch the beta, instead i went to my friend's house and played Battlefront 2 on Xbox. This game, I am going to buy this game even with all this bull going on, but i will buy it Used several months from now and Never play the multiplayer because i hate lootboxes, and worse than that, i hate Card based systems.

the battlefield games have been like this for years...i haven't unlocked every weapon in a battlefield game since bad company 2...AND I PLAYED MORE HOURS IN BATTLEFIELD 3...LIKE WAY MORE...and never unlocked all the weapons...i'm talking hundreds of hours...and still didn't get all the weapons...it fucking sucks, i want my content i paid for

This has been a problem since Overwatch... hell its been going on for a very long time but only now has it been brought to light... not saying Overwatch is terrible, but once companies realized how exploitable micro transactions and dlc costs were, due to Overwatches overwhelming popularity it was game over for us... loot boxes existed beforehand don't get me wrong, but no one really noticed the potential of it being the ultimate cash cow in video game history... as someone who has been playing video games since I was 4 it's very disappointing and sad to see how far games have come but stoop so very low... it honestly breaks my heart, because I love games of all kinds, from playing tag to playing cards to playing checkers and chess to playing on gaming consoles... it's ridiculous how easily manipulated we as a gaming community can be and are, because those companies know how to exploit our emotions, our passion and once they find the sweet spot of how much they can get through their calculations we stay quiet and content... it's awful... make trash game outta something popular, jack up the prices on extras and wait for your audience to start raging and throwing out numbers... then you calculate the average of what what people are willing to pay and you offer to "fix" some issues with the game but not fix it entirely... its odd, because we give Nintendo so much hell because it's always been so bare bones... but that's the beauty of Nintendo! There's a reason why people have that phrase: "it's that Nintendo polish" Nintendo never cared about graphics or the addition of various apps and they put them in granted but the apps were very bare bones themselves... Nintendo always focused on gameplay first, they dedicated themselves to being a gaming console, not an entertainment console that has everything and trashy gameplay...
