Ill vouche for the ArborWear line of hoodies!! Their Double thick hoodies are a true piece of work wear especially during the colder months. They are snag resistant, do a really good job at shedding rain and Debris... Their double thick thermogen hoodies are astounding!! Expensive, yes, but worth every penny if you work outside or do treework!! Ive beat the tar out of my thermogen doing tree work for 2 years, mostly groundwork, with some climbing and its held up great!! Only blemish I managed was haphazardly burning a hole in the front right pocket from showering sparks directly on it with a grinder, since patched, but I wont make that mistake again, hands down, the most comfortable piece of workwear I own

Just bought 2 of the double thick on clearance for 75.00 a piece. Being 60 years old and working outside in Upstate NY on HVAC. I am always looking for warmer better fitting layers. Hope this hoodie fits the bill.

Good to know, I've been using 16-18oz pre-shrunk from Cotton Mills & Just Sweatshirts and the double layer from Arborwear is even heavier @ 26oz....noice

Awesome video and nice sweatshirts. I've been on the lookout for better sweatshirts as I am focusing on quality over quantity now. I have bought from Hanes heavyweight pro club. So far I've found that Dickies midweight sweatshirts to be quite nice. Recently ordered Russell Athletic because I like the details it offers such as the triangle on the neck area and the vertical seams on front and back panels. Will see how I like the quality when they arrive.

Russell Athletic's dri-power hoodies and crewnecks. Classic fit, details on neck and sides. Have a navy and a black that show no pilling. just wash cold, hang dry if possible.

How does this compare with the Camber 441 Double Thick Pullover Hooded Sweatshirt? I have Camber and really like it. I am in the market for another sweatshirt and trying to decide.

Hello. I can help you answer this question cause I own both. In terms of durability, the win definitely goes to Camber. Just by feel, you can already indicate that Camber's 24oz pullover will outlast Arborwear's double thick pullover. In terms of performance, they're not to far apart. Perhaps I'm just biased with Camber. Regardless, Arborwear's pullover provides exceptional wind resistance just like Camber. Heck! I just took a 2-hour walk in 20 degrees with wind chills making it feel like 6 degrees, but I was wearing Arborwear's double thick sweatpants instead of the pullover. The wind (at 15mph) didn't penetrate through the pants. Another thing I found with Arborwear's pullovers & crewnecks is that their sizing runs smaller. With Camber, I size down. With Arborwear, I size the same as my t-shirts. So yeah! Arborwear's double thick lineup is definitely worth looking into. But if you want something that'll last you for over a decade, I'd say continue with Camber. A smaller company most similar to Camber's durable construction is one called "Kellsport". www.sweatshirtsusa.com/ Prices are a bit more expensive. You're looking at $99.50 for 18oz sweatpants. A crewneck is $79.50 ($20 extra for a thermal lining). An 18oz pullover hoodie is $89.50. And 18oz thermal lined full zipper hoodies are $129.50.

@@cordovanhobbyist895 Thanks for the detailed answer, my apologies for the late reply (my notifications are off). Indeed, my first Camber sweatshirt is over 8 years old and still feels new. I just ordered one for my son a few days ago and it's on the way. In the last few years I bought a couple as gifts for family/friends.

Have you tried Camber USA'S sweatshirts? I have had their Arctic Chill pullover for a few years now and I am very happy with it.

jake ellis price that’s an Xl on a 43 chest and it’s big. I actually prefer the large fit
