On September 19, K-pop boy group BTS joined the inaugural ceremony of South Korea's Youth Day, the third Saturday in September of each year.
The seven members of BTS delivered a motivational speech for the nation's youth, sharing candid stories of their inner/outer struggles on the path to becoming one of the world's most popular music group.

i hope taehyung realizes the impact he made when he created the phrase i purple you,, he literally created a whole phrase to express love between bts and the fandom, which literally embedded the colour purple into bts to the point where the cities they tour in literally lights up the city purple during the concert day and now as leaders of youth they are literally burying a purple capsule. basically i love bts, bts leader of youth, bts koreas pride, bts biggest band, and bts paved the way, and they deserve all the success i want to cry-

Jimin was praised by many people for memorizing his speech without having to look at the script. Even though it was short, it's really not easy especially doing it in front of so many respected individuals. He is really incredible!!!

Jimin remembered his whole speech just to look at everyone in the crowd. He made a good impression. Looking at the crowd when speaking is a great way to make a connection and pull all attention towards you. It’s seen as very attractive and makes the audience want to pay full attention.

Jin: "Just past twenty, i had to battle and face another reality. Before debut i thought Hard work would always be enough. But after debut, i needed talent more than effort. I am a 69 year old woman and they are the role models of young people today. What they have they earned and worked very hard for. @@ava_ruth_wagner B -army is Brazilian-army, I just abbreviated it ... '' water divider '' for me is something that changed my way of thinking or something that had a positive impact on my life. As in the parable of the Bible, Moses and the Pharaoh, he did not open the Red Sea to change the lives of the people of Israel ... something like that ... water divider is something with a strong impact.

Celebrities were never this inspiring, humble or comforting with their words when I was growing up. Youth these days are so lucky to grow up with BTS as their role models. What a truly inspiring underdog story theirs is! All of the members shared such a powerful message and beautiful words. I’m always reminded of the fact that Jungkook was so young when he joined Big Hit and when BTS debuted. He handled the pressure and scrutiny with such grace and class, and he’s grown up to be such a good man. He’s so patient and understanding of people’s problems and so humble. They all are. They’re all such wonderful and kind men. Never underestimate the importance of kindness! These boys have it in spades.

해야 된다가 아니라 바라고 희망한다는 말입니다 그리고 현재 군면제 제도가 엄연히 있습니다 줄이거나 늘리는건 그 다음 문제고 뭐라 할 입장도 아닙니다 다만 그런 제도가 있고 BTS 가 그 틀에서 본다면 충분한 사유가 될것이라 생각할 뿐입니다 온갓 편법으로 면제를 받는 금수저들과는 다른 이야기입니다 그들이 군대를 가서 대한민국 남자로서 의무를 다하는것도 또 혹 면제를 받아 세계에 한류를 지속시켜 국가 브랜드의 가치를 높이는 것역시 좋은 일이라 생각합니다 처음부터 면제제도가 없다면 당연 가야하는게 맞지만 그 면제제도의 취지를 본다면 BTS가 과연 거기에 부합할까요 그렇지 않을까요 전 충분한 자격이 있다고 생각할 뿐입니다 지금도 국방의 의무를 다하고 있는 친구들도 제대 하는 그날까지 몸 건강히 지내길 바랍니다 이상 30사 기보사 전역자였습니다

I don't think any other artist or group has inspired or given me strength the way BTS has.... I recently had my entrance exam for Med school and I tried my best .... Just like my idols taught me.... I believe in myself now.... This is so unlike me... Before learning about these angels, I was an insecure little girl, always doubting myself ..... And the change I've gone through now.... Is surprising even to my parents... Thank you BANGTAN... Y'all are changing lives around the world 💜
