I actually shot this some time ago - it looks sunny and warm, but it was freezing! Got to love that winter light, though.

The truck so far:
King Kong CA30 6x6 kit
Russian 'herringbone' 95mm tyres (part number: KK/D-T060)
Hobbywing 1080
25kg no-name servo
16T Surpass Hobby 5-slot brushed motor (planned 540 motor didn't fit!)
2S battery to slow it down…

Nice one, good to see some winter light again. From a distance. On film. While warm. CAs are brilliant. Great showcase. Love the close up of the tyre nibbling the rock you'd focussed on. A

Awesome run with the ca 30 👌👌👍👍 Just today I accidentally reversed mine full throttle in to a pavement and broke the middle axle link mount and all 3 hinges of the tale gate. Made me very angry with myself

😱 They're not the most rugged trucks... I've split the wooden beam where there mudguard bolts on by catching it on a rock. 😬 Good luck with your repairs! 👍

Another great video, just loved the shot at 2:40 🥰 My CA30 has arrived, I buckled after seeing yours and Andrews rig on here loads recently 🙂 Tyres and electrics are needed to complete the 'project box', can I ask what driver you used please? He looks bob-on size wise so I'd like something similar. Many Thanks!

Ha ha, awesome! They're great trucks (if a tiny bit fragile). The driver is apparently Boomerang from Suicide Squad. It's a six inch figure. Like you say, he's a good fit. There's a very military looking guy in the same series, too (plus they're cheap and all over eBay...). 👍
