These guys always jump to Kit’s monetization of these videos thinking THAT is the reason he calls. It’s about awareness, of their horrible practices that hurt people on a daily basis but they are either oblivious or in denial or just don’t care about others so they see it as a money grab.

I truly appreciate these videos. I work in a retail store and have been able to help so many people - not always elderly - who would have been scammed out of hundreds of dollars, as well as informing our customers of how to avoid scammers in the first place. I've even had people who burst into tears because they were ready to turn over the money they couldn't afford when there was no need for it. Thank you, Kitboga.

my boyfriend and I got a call from apple support (it was a scam of course) and this indian guy was on the other end and I used my UK accent (I'm American and I decided and use my fake UK accent) and I decided to have "fun" by asking him how he was and how lovely the weather was, i asked him if he wanted a cup of tea and that I was trying to make conversation by wasting his time. He then proceeded to say "ma'am your wasting my time" in an "ugg" time of tone and I said "that's what I'm here to do is waste your time! I laughed and hung up!! it was hilarious!!!!!!!

The reason he was angry was because he or one of his coworkers recognized your voice. You have a relatively unique voice among the scam-baiting community, and since you're one of the most well known ones, every major scam centers have a copy of your voice. It may be wise to never use your original voice again for these kind of the calls...they're catching on.

I think it’s really impressive and respectable that Kitboga stays cool even when the scammer starts to argue with him personally. It’s easy to shoot down the scammer completely when they start to attack what he does, even without cursing and yelling back, but Kit doesn’t stoop to that level.

I won't begin to say here what I like to put scammers through. But once you get into their heads and you understand a little bit about the culture, then you can go full Hannibal Lecter on them until they hang up in total disgust. I have no sympathy for them. And if I can ruin their week and make them afraid to answer the phone for a while...then good. If I had the tech skills I'd see how many and how fast I could make them quit in a panic.
