On some level or another, they definitely know they are fooling themselves because they would go after people like Bill Gates or Bezo if they really wanted to "eat the rich", but it's a lie that lets them sleep at night.

There is seriously no other person out there like Kit who streams on Twitch. The roleplays, the production value, scenes, fake websites he codes, the AI he codes, etc. Nobody puts in that amount of work and effort as far as I have seen. Dude deserves every penny he gets and despite how popular and well-known he is, he is still criminally underrated and it surprises me how he doesn't pull like 100k viewers every stream.

I think the best part about this is that kit actually makes a profit off his channel and streams (as he should) while the scammers get completely screwed out of their time and money and not matter what horrible things they say they’re the ones who lost in this situation which is a good thing because maybe they’ll think about that the next time they go to scam someone

And even better, the scammers don’t believe when he says that calling them is his job. It pays well enough that he’s willing to give up his software dev position, which tends to pay pretty well already.

I find it very satisfying that, when you see a 10 hour video, you know from the beginning that the scammer has literally zero chance of getting any money out of this. They will have hours of building up to the payoff, only to be let down in the worst way possible.

The fact that they keep trying this means that they’re succeeding with some people. It’s truly despicable and hats off to Kitboga for wasting their time and doing it in such a creative and entertaining way. His coding, acting, and improvisational skills are next level and turning them to scambaiting is wonderful.

I'm in Australia, and it difinately is still going on . My husband gets calls all the time, saying there from Ebay, Amozon, blah blah. I receive texts saying my items are ready for pick up at post office, I need to pay money before I pick items up . Stinky scum, they are .

According to my calculations, assuming one bag of 3.2 oz popcorn popped fills 0.7 gallons in volume and an Olympic size swimming pool can hold 660,430 gallons of water, it'd take 450k-475k bags (with the exact calculated total being 462,301 bags) of microwave popcorn to fill that pool.
