Fun Fact: The Tea Kettle is not there to heat water to make some tea, but actually to add humidity to the room when the fire stove is being used. Woodburning stove produce a very dry type of heat which is really good to dry up clothes and heat up a place, but can become uncomfortable over time if no humidity is added to the room. Boiling water in the kettle will produce humidity to counter balance the dryness of the stove.

This place feels so cozy and soft! I love the use of the natural stone features throughout. The vertical wooden slats of the loft match perfectly with the tall windows and keep things consistent. Having access to the sounds of the river would also be pretty incredible. We would love to spend time here!

Thank you, Levi & Savannah. This cabin is simple & unique, well designed, beautiful; inside & out. I would make one change. With so much room, a full sized staircase could have been built; much safer. It’s all really nice. As a side note: I want to say thank you for bringing the books of the Bible to my attention again. They are really nice & would make excellent gifts. I so much appreciate your quiet & kind sharing of your faith; Savannah reading to Weston was absolutely heartwarming. Our future is definitely in good hands because of young families like yours. God bless & keep you. Many blessings

The Bible written in modern language with photographs! Ridiculously brilliant idea. Individual books too! Mind blown! I am starting to design a rebuild of our cottage just south of Kincardine, Ontario and will use this simple design, adding a second floor, to allow for several bedrooms, yet still have the cathedral ceiling in the front. The plywood used as wall board and finished naturally is beautiful.

That was incredibly beautiful in a truly gorgeous area. I loved the clean, crisp and clear open design. However I would definitely add a rail around the top of those steep stairs. To stop someone falling from above, and also to help with getting off the stairs or back down them at the top. Most people aren't used to stairs as steep as lighthouse steps. It's the first time I can recall from your visits that I've ever had a wish to change something! I loved the way you incorporated the sound of the river and the footage was stunning 😍

I know why fall is my favorite season!🥰🤗 And this cabin is really beautiful. I like the scandinavien design, especially the grey colour in the kitchen and the bathroom. Really cool! The outside is wonderful aswell, the nature, the river and all the red, orange and yellow of the trees. What could you want more? The beer that hosts provided is not local, it's accually Polish beer also based on their art in bedroom owners are from Poland. So cool to see the little touches from polish region. Great taste and cute little house. 👌🏼🤍

Beautiful home nestled in picturesque surroundings - that backsplash is a stunner...one almost hates to call it a backsplash.
