Excellent video! I'm finding your dopamine focused master protocol to be an excellent combination with nofap and retention, especially now being 22 days in. Focus is through the roof and life finally becoming enjoyable again after some difficult past few months. The new block I recently moved to has a creek flowing adjacent to it which bring down fresh freezing cold spring water from the mountains. I set myself the challenge of taking a cold plunge every day for the entirety of 2024. So far its been easy with it being summer in Australia, but will see how I go as we get into Autumn/Winter here. addiction to porn lights up the same pleasure centers of the brain that drugs gives you illicit or prescription, withdrawal in the first 2 months in particular can be very difficult not to relapse back to porn, once the first 90 days pass your body will respond well and feel much better

Yes. Drugs don't "add" anything to the brain, they just activate / hijack the dopamine system. So does porn addiction. In fact, ALL addictions do this, drugs, porn, you name it. People have the wrong idea about this, they think it is the drug inside the brain that feels good, but in reality the drug has just made you release a very high amount of dopamine (and serotonin with some drugs).

Cold Shower is not good for some people. Because of it I suffer from sinusitis and that's blocking my nose whole night. I actually do cold shower in the morning and now I totally stopped it . There is psychological benefits but it will surely give some physiological problem to someone but not everyone.

After 4 years of semen retention, I had relapsed after a traumatic injury and was doing it once every 2 weeks but I learnt how the temptations came and what my triggers were and when it was too much I’d keep my focus on cross and meditate on it, Jesus is really helping me overcome the lust of my flesh. I was 36 when I found out about porn addiction and realized my situation, and then after that I still kept relapsing for many years. I turned it around, though, and now at 47 life is great. Try to focus on the time in front of you instead, you can still have 70 wonderful years in front of you. Nothing get's better from ruminating about the past.

I'm at day 20 of nofap, but day 95 for no mo. When i get past day 24 (the day I started peeking at porn), I will only keep track of the days for nofap. I have just come out of the dreaded week 2/3 (not as bad as the first time around), but still getting morning depression, but that seems to be getting weaker as the days go on.

It's an interesting question, but it's impossible to know exactly...but if I had to guess, based on my own experiences and what I've seen, it's definitely not 60 days and probably not even 40 or even 30 days. Also depends on what kind of brain change, or issue, we are talking about (remember, there are several brain changes going on at once in porn addiction, not just one). PIED, conditioning, or strictly just desensitization etc. etc. It's just an impossible question to answer for several reasons. Probably under 30 days, though, especially in terms of desensitization....more like 9-15 days or something like that (also could be highly individual). Again, it's pretty silly trying to throw out numbers here when there are just too many factors involved...

With PIED it's a bit more important to stay away from relapses than with desensitization alone, I would not really say 9-15 days in terms of PIED. Probably a bit more there, but again, it depends on the person. As you know, some people can heal PIED in just two months while others take WAY longer, so I'm not going to give you any number there, because we just don't know. Just keep staying away from porn and try to interact a lot with real life people to help the rewiring process. Try to not worry about that relapse, you had 4 months clean, you don't just wipe out all that time. You've probably already regained what you've lost....keep going!

The one thing that would help the fastest is sleeping with girl regularly, but while pied you will not have confidence to do that and escort on day when you had morning wood would help a lot too.
