o ronco desse motor , deixa qualquer pessoa de boca aberta , aqui no brazil a rapaziada tambem tira o silencioso do escape , e o som fica desse geito, o coraçao só falta sair pela boca , a emoçao é grande

Hi there. We've got a scania 143 450 and really want to straight pipe it. We tried to up the back of cab but it was way too loud and gave us sore heads. although it sounded wicked!! we had to put muffler back on. Its too much of a mission to pipe it down the chassi. Anyone got any ideas?

MsFoxan put a small muffler on the pipe! Then IT does not scream as Much but still has a nice low noice

In the sixties you got got the Volvo F82 It had a petrol V8 It could also be delivered with a diesel engine

Actually you can get a Volvo and with a V8, though it is built by Yamaha it is a Volvo engine and it is sold in S80 and XC90 and probably others too.

Besides the B5444 you mentioned, the only Volvo V8 to ever reach production is the B36AV, which was a gasoline engine for light/medium duty trucks Trygge and Snabbe from 1956 to 1966. Volvo was never really famous for any of the 2, and never built a diesel V8 for heavy duty trucks. That reached the market anyway.
