@@leighjordine4031 your dad is 100%correct,at one time I drove an 8 legger for Allen's in Trafford Park and I had to stand up every time I had to go round a corner,and the lock was that bad more often than not I had to have a shunt to get it round.it was better than all the weight lifting exercises 🤣🤣🤣

I thought it was a bit of an exaggeration until I did a bit of research. That crusher it’s carrying on its back weighs 51300kg. So taking that into account, the gross weight of that whole set up isn’t far off 82000kg 👍

Ik I don't know ow why ppl think it's impossible it is very real them old 143s were animals we had one that pulled a 60 ton excavator on a trailer like that and the trailer was about 15 ton that is 75 ton and ours was a 4x2 but it snapped a half shaft in the axle one day on a hill that's why ppl think it's not 80 ton

Doesn’t add up. I would carry one of those on my RORO. 1 would weigh about 20t. He’s got 2 at about 40t

Those 4 axle Faymonville multimax trailers goes to around 68-71 tons in total weight ( depending on configuration ) 68000 kg minus 54300 kg is 13700 kg, which is just around the trailers own weight. So I guess the trailer can handle the Terex Crusher on its own ? The Terex is loaded a bit forward over the 4 traileraxles, which will give some load on the drive axle. I guess the weight distribution is ok. But I would prefer a tandem truck myself. Risk of jack-knifing is higher with the shown configuration. ( Tried that once, not funny :-) )

The terex j1175 crusher weighs in at 51300kg and the truck/trailer most likely a bit over 20t so 82 is not that far off... But one thing is for sure, someone's been playing with a 13mm on the pump... 🤘

@@johnbarry4562 If memory serves, it was either 56 or 58 ton and change. A firm local to me has a recycling plant on an old concrete runway. They got short of anything to crush so they pulled up some more runway. Broke it up in slabs. Greedy boards on the 8 wheeler and a good bit above. You wouldn't have wanted to drive it down the road but they only done it to see what the truck could take.

@I love to have a change now and again . Not at all . Vehicle and Ancillary Equipment Tare weights are OBVIOUSLY part of the Total Load and must be included in the Haul weight . That's how the Regulations work . PAID weight is obviously just the Crusher . BTW , I am a retired Heavy Haul Trucker .

@@samw2195 My trailer's a tad longer from neck to axles than this one. So the stinger is necessary for the legality as far as spreading the weight out.
