mei ist des schee :-) mit dem könnt ich ewig rumcruisen. Wenn ich im Lotto gewinne, kauf ich mir nen 4-series Scania, bau nen kleinen Wohnwagen auf die Sattelplatte, lass ihn ablasten und als Wohnmobil zulassen und cruise dann mit ordentlich Sound einmal von Bergen in Norwegen bis an die portugiesische Algarveküste (träum)

wow. got an idea. if i owned one, of these, i would run parallet wires, from the jake brake lever, to a similar switch on floor, left side, on side panel, under dash. This would allow the driver, to engage it, with left foot, leaving hands free, for whatever can/may/will happen......one cannot shift, and operate dash, with only one arm/hand....or steer quickly with both.....speed of operation, IS PARAMOUNT, nowadays....

ok what , is that lever (up and down) on the dash ? is it a jake brake ? Nice layout of dash, up high, in view of peripheral vision. Not like north american trucks....AND a real manual tranny....also, a clear front window, wide angle......nice touch.....oldtrucker

KEEP THE STEERING WHEEL..... a real one, with no distracting infotainment buttons/switches on it.....less wiring to go wrong....gowrong...go..? wro..ng.....ong ??

What does that switch on a dashboard do? It's a parking brake in ETS2 but he is switching it while moving so I am confused. Or you can really use it while moving without any damage? Thanks.

No, its not a parking brake, its the retarder. In Ets you also habe a retarder so I think you know that it is just an additional brake :) This is a Scania Series 4 interior and in Ets it is the Series 5/6 Interior, where Scania moved the parkbrake to that position and the retarder behind the steering wheel :)
