My Volvo FM7 has a Palfinger PK 13500C crane on it. Just the other day I ran the extenders all the way out for lubrication and maintenance, and I thought to myself "Damn, that's pretty long when it's all the way out...". My crane has four hydraulic extensions, and if I'm counting correctly this monster has at least 16... Impressive piece of machinery to say the least. An absolute beast.

Had the pleasure of training with a pk150000, one of two built at the time and only one with a cab in the world. These are amazing machines that are capable of so many things. Palfinger is a amazing company as well

This would be extremely useful for the sectional removal very tall trees. Although I'm not sure what the SWL would be when fully extended.

Super Gerät. Sicherlich auch als Alternative zu den MK-Kranen zu gebrauchen. Gerade auch im Straßenverkehr. Wenn der MK eine Vollsperrung braucht, benötigt der nur eine Spur und auf der Lastseite den Seitenstreifen / Fußweg. Gefällt mir.

kena Ich weiß nicht wer sich so ein Klappergestell von einem Kran kauft, bestehend aus tausend Durchführungen und zehntausend Gelenken. Heben kann der auch nichts weil sich alles biegt oder ausschlägt. Wenn man dann noch den Anschaffungspreis dazurechnet ist das wohl eher ein Millionengrab. Oder kann mir der Profi sagen was dieses Ding für einen Sinn macht?

Angie & Manong Klaus Keine Ahnung würde ich nicht sagen, denn bei uns auf der Baustelle sind Kranwagen alltäglich. Aber in einer vernünftigen Größe. Für schwere Sachen haben wir dann einen Autokran. Außerdem konntest du mir ja auch nicht sagen was das Klapperding für einen Sinn macht.

@@puffumac682 Für Autokrane braucht es großteils Sondergenehmigungen wegen den Gewichten/Achslasten + Transport der Ausrüstung wie z.B. Balast. Das fällt hier alles weg, und auch das "Klappergestell" ist für einiges zu gebrauchen ;)

Why wouldnt you use a regular mobile crane whats the point of this? Just wondering, so many moving parts to boom out at that height, I'm guessing weight capacity would lessen the further out it is, as well as luffing would become an issue at some stage of the lift.

When there's a headroom issue (ie. working indoors under a low ceiling or having to work under a powerline) an articulating boom has a high capacity even when in a horizontal position. They are capable of these type of lifts when a straightboom crane is often not.

If they try to extend it straight out to the side horizontally With that length of boom out, they can’t pick more than about 800-1000 lbs max if that much. Otherwise they will end up on KZfaq as another crane accident

@@wraleen actually 500kg so about 1100lbs. This crane isn't as strong as a telescopic crane where you build wind mills and such with. But it is very useful for some things what you won't be able to do with a telescopic crane.

Look at all the boom deflection at 4:38 that tells me that the load rating at that length will be very low!

Can't say for sure but looking at load charts it seems it can lift 680kg, or around 1500lbs, but I cant seem to find the exact jib model so i took the one for the longest.

@@305kingMLW this model fully extended can lift 500-1440 kg depending on the angle.. 500kg being fully horizontal and 1440kg in 80°

Should be on a Peterbilt 359 to be really cool IMHO. European trucks aren't very good looking so far also IMHO. That crane is really cool though.

Jet Engine Thrust every time i see some say thing like american beter. I go lol i work over 20 yrs with truck and american are nice if you kid or live in america but rest of time thy are crap. Even in america thy are not best thy even sel EU trucks over there. If thy where so good you wil see even more like kenworth k200 cabover who is like EU truck but stil you dont see them in EU.

Interessant wäre jetzt noch das Leistungsdiagramm was kann er bei wieviel Meter Auslage heben, (den verbiegt es ja schon ohne Last, dass es einem himmelangst wird, ich würde nicht in den Personenkorb einsteigen wollen ) bin mir sicher, da steckt ihn ein herkömmliche Mobilkran bei gleichem Gesamtgewicht locker in die Tasche. Wenn man dann noch den Anschaffungspreis und Unterhaltskosten mit in die Kalkulation mit einbezieht ist dieser Kran,- auch da bin ich mir sicher, eine Fehlkonstruktion und Fehlinvestition. Nicht alles was technisch machbar ist, ist auch sinnvoll

2 meiner Kunden haben einen. Beide sind ausreichend ausgelastet. Dazu kommen noch entscheidende Features die nur ganz wenig Krane haben. Mit den beiden originalen Arbeitskörben von Palfinger wird er zur korbgesteuerten Hubarbeitsbühne. 45m Ausladung ohne Ballastierung bei nur 40 to EG auf der Strasse schafft kein Mobilkran. Hat als einziger ein zugelassenes Personensicherungssystem zur Sicherung von Personen an Höhenarbeitsplätzen. Knickt mit JIB über Störkanten, gut im Innenstadtbereich in engen Gassen. Man muss es halt brauchen dann ist das schon was.

Ich fahre PK600 TK mit 40 Meter und 27t. Gesamt Gewicht. Kran braucht wesentlich weniger Platz . Gibt es noch PK800 TK und 46m. Beide schafften gleiche Gewicht zu heben und beide können als Hebebühne arbeiten.
