I don't know. Personally, I think the duet was a travesty. i know it's in Scanlan's style, but the crudeness of it just wasn't nessesary. At all.

The show is an adaptation of an actual game of Dungeons & Dragons, as played by a group called "Critical Role" a few years ago on Twitch and KZfaq. In the game, even though its fantasy, they don't treat it like a period piece. They don't talk like its medieval times, and there's modern music and pop culture references.

I bet he would have a bunch of Japanese andAmerican soldiers dancing if he was in the radio I can imagine a bunch of soldiers we like to listen to their Humvees to scale it they be dancing and no doubt if a guy for a fantasy universe like that ever met some more modern musicians they would love to that would be funny I would love to see a scanian with Michael Jackson that would just be too hilarious that would be just too fun to see them two guys go with it oh yeah hey let's just say he can write some musicians that a master songwriter 2 no doubt he would be just a delight to entertain soldiers from his nation and his reality could you imagine he entertaining modern 21st century soldiers no I don't see why not anybody be grooving to be in the guys are doing their jobs they grew up in what they're working that be kind of funny so could you imagine you have a guy who sells burnt burn CDs and selling it to soldiers he sell it to people he's making money could you imagine you have a positive or Arab guy selling I don't know sell that kind of stuff he's making. Why, because it's kinda "silly"? That's kind of the point. It's a dnd campaign brought to the big screen via animation. The amount of antics that go on in a dnd game are actually most of the time MORE stupid and silly than this, also given that this was made to be a home game that wasn't planned to be streamed each character is kinda a cartoon, especially Scanlan. As the campaign proceeded on though the characters became much more grounded and "human" If you don't like this style of show that's fine, simply don't watch it. No-one is forcing you to watch it, free will exists my dude

If your not a d&d fan whos actually played and been with a group ok with lots of screwing around, you probably wont like it. But to people like me and the group i play with, this show was funny as hell.
