I'm using an incandescent test light connected to ground to perform this test.

That last coil. The engine really disapproved and tried giving u a bite with that coil. 😂

Thats cause if you notice, he never fully plugged in the 3rd coil before taking out the fourth one. The engine was wanting to seize up

@@iprophecy6768it was not wanting to seize up lol it's not blown up man It just has a misfire and was about to die or shut off but not even close to seizing up ya goober.

I pulled a wire off my carburetor car once as a kid and let’s just say I realized if I was going to do it again I should be wearing pull-ups

What wire on a carburetor gives a bite? Even on the E4ME electronic Q-jet, there is no bite from the mixture control solenoid.

I have ptsd from trying to time my Nissan Hardbody with a bad distributor ground. Guess how I found out it had a bad ground.

Pour water on exhaust manifold then start or grease pencil on header will show cold cyl.

How about an ohm meter and check them correctly along with an obd tester. Both are cheap nowadays. Sometimes cheaper than a single coil pack

no sir, many coils will pass the resistance test and still be bad. It is an unloaded test

@@ScannerDanner it's part of the process. Also if ohms are not close to other coil packs they are not balanced. What do I know though. Only 45 years playing with auto electrical

@@alex-sv8to to each his own. I don't use an ohmmeter on circuits that carry anything more than 1 amp of current due to its severe inaccuracy. Not to mention in this application and what I'm doing (an rpm drop test), it would be a completely useless tool
