Does any of them do headlights, to test ballast or wiring, I've got skoda yeti and side light don't work and iv been told it's l e d but before replacing headlight at great cost I thought perhaps a scanner might be able to tell if there's a fault that can be repaired

I want a tool to activate a 2007 Audi A4 2.0t cabriolet purge valve. I bought the xtool d8 and found it does not support this. This is a common problem, seems this is something that should be supported

Does anyone know if one of these will clear the "inspection due" message of a 2016 Audi TT. Not the oil reset or interval but the Inspection due message that shows every time you start and stop the car.

That can be reset……put your key in but don’t turn it, hold down the trip button (that tested your miles) keep holding it while turning the key to the first click….keep holding it abs after a few seconds it will say “reset oil service” but keep holding it abs after another few seconds it will say “reset inspection” when it says that let go of the button and it will say reset?? Press the button once and it will reset, then start the car and that should be you sorted. IF it doesn’t work first time you may need to repeat it a few times (sounds stupid but it’s does work) good luck. 😊

Hi, I'm a vw technician but do a lot of sidework on various vehicles e.g. Vauxhall, audi, Honda etc and looking for a good overall scan tool but don't want to spend too much money about £250-£300 maximum, would prefer lifetime updates if possible, which scan tool would you recommend? Thanks

Less than a minute in and pause. 15 years experience eh? So how come there are so many asking which one to buy for their vehicle? I've spent a week non stop trying to find out which one for my VW T4 and STILL can't find anyone with enough 'experience' to tell me, I wonder if you can, lets see....

Two minutes in and pause. Not looking good! All you seem to be doing is saying what the individual scanner is capable of doing, not if it can do it on any given vehicle, what use is that? I've already bought one that won't talk to my vehicle at all, how many on average will I have to buy before I find one that does, eh? eh? Back to the video.
