Shannon King No, it’s because Bill breaks at actual funny things, but can play a great dead pan character. Fallon did it in every sketch on purpose and pissed off the snl cast. He’s just fake about it. Look at his fake laughs on The Tonight Show for reference.

You are right about humor being subjective, and unless I could point out a term or pun you didn't "get', I don't think anything I could say could make the skit seem any funnier to you. I do wish they would let us see the ones that are on the list but that we can't see in the USA.

Few people knew Betty White personally, but so many of us feel like they did. Not only was Betty a phenomenal actress - even at 88 years young on SNL - you could just tell she was an amazing human being. Everyone loves you, Betty! Allen is lucky to have you back in his arms, and we’re lucky that you’ve left plenty of great laughs behind!

Betty White was the classiest person in Hollywood. I've never cried over a celebrity death until today. I fell in love with Betty when I was very young watching Golden Girls. I've followed her career and watched and read everything possible about her. She was a genuinely awesome person. RIP Betty You're finally reunited with your beloved husband.

It's fascinating to watch these clips and read the comments and feel the collective love everyone has for Ms. Betty White. To share the sentiment that, in spite of her being with us for 99 generous years, it is still easy to embrace the idea that she was supposed to be here for 99 more. That's evidence of the timelessness of Betty White! She was a gift to us all. She gave us the gift of laughter that softened life's edges. With her charisma and her soft voice she was the medicine we all needed, she spoke a language we all could relate to, humor. She was as sweet and satisfying as that piece of candy you always hope grandma had in the bottom of her purse, just for you. She was indeed, "America's Grandma."
