That crap is really irritating. I'm trying to stealth through an area, and my companion teleports deep into the base or building and just starts shooting. It's either that or walking into your direct line of fire, so you end up shooting them instead of the enemy.

The same companion who is outside your ship but suddenly ends up in the cockpit before you.

I found one of them on an abandoned ship, or so I thought. I searched the ship, or maybe it was a space station for about 30 minutes. Right when I was ready to leave I noticed a stairway to a lower level. The only reason I didn't have a heart attack after opening the locked door. Was that I read a data slate that said some kind of creature killed the entire crew. The thing still scared the hell out of me. Killed me and when I respawned I had to dope up.

I found that one. On a low G world, so every time i blasted one of them as it charged me it's spasming corpse would sail through the air to slap me in the face. & there were LOTS.

I was almost 700 hours in game when this was recorded and had never seen this location before. Almost 900 now and have never seen it since. It gives me hope that there is still more to discover if I keep looking.

​@@EvanMFitzGeraldi'm lvl70 now & i'm convinced that procedural locations are level locked. I still see the occasional cryo lab or muybridge pharma plant, but there's a huge diversity now. Alternatively Bethesda have added new ones in the updates but haven't said so. Which i find less likely.

I think it is completely random. I was sent to this planet by a mission board. After completing that mission I saw this place in the distance and didn't recognize it, so I boosted over to it and found this.

What level are you? I have a theory that new locations are unlocked as you level. I don't believe i saw this radar station until at least level 60.

Interesting. And how long have you been a game developer? How many copies did your last game sell? Have you offered to patch it for Bethesda since it takes so little effort? My three decades of programming experience tell me that every problem seems like an easy fix to those who don't have to fix it.

Wait...you are saying that 30 years of programming experience doesn't give me a better idea of how difficult programming can be to fix? Someone who has never done it understands how to create rules to determine placement of NPCs within the navmesh that work in every situation?
