Scarifying and coring a bowls green

Clint and Max talk about the process and why it is an important part of the maintenance of a bowls green.

Hi guys great vid/ I think I’ve got brown spot - shady area (now in full sun - Santa Ana - any chemical suggestions or just scarify and core again ?

Max says airflow is the key so best core and fertilise with a product like PREMATURE. He has asked that you send a photo of the issue via FB DM or to max@lawnhub.com.au so he can assist with more specific advice.

I couldn’t quite get what max was saying so can you use a penetrate one week then wetter soil another week on the sane area ? Or would that be the same as just using a wetter n a retainer?

Hey Andy, what I was meaning in all that chat was that some parts of your lawn may need different things. Like when I mentioned if my lawn was holding water in the surface I might need a good penetrant to get that water where it needs to be. Or if I had a patch drying out quickly maybe some soil wetter to hold some of the water in that location.
